Taylored Expressions / Snailed It Cardmaking Kit

Hello!

Taylored Expressions is releasing the ADORABLE Snailed It Cardmaking Kit today!

This kit has just the right amount of whimsy but with such cute details in all the products!

I had so much fun with the colors and designs for these snails!

This card design features heat embossing for all the snail details as well as the sentiment. Using the stencils, the snail panel was done using Tropical Punch, Dill Pickle, Latte, Pineapple, and Guava inks.

I created a layered background design featuring the Squiggle Stacklets Die and the Cross Stitch Rectangle Stacklets. The Build a Scene - Grassy Hills was done using Oat Milk Cardstock. A few clouds from Stitched Cloud Duo were added to round out the layout.

Next up, is another card using more of the snails from the panel that was ink blended and white heat embossed as described above. This one features the same colors but different background dies and also includes the new Blooms & Shrooms Die Set. Look at the details in the dies from this set!

Pinkfresh Studio / “Sunshine & Smiles” Release Blog Hop

Hello!

I'm excited to join the fabulous group from Pinkfresh Studio for their

Sunshine & Smiles Blog Hop today!

Such a great release just in time for the summer months of warmth and beautiful flowers!

Garden Medley is a beautiful new collection featuring a large arrangement of florals including stamp, die, Letterpress plate, and stencils.

I used the stencils to add color to all the stencils (6) in the set. The image was die cut and layered over a pink panel of cardstock. Using the Essentials Blanket Stitched Oval Die Set, a frame was created and layered over the floral panel. A sentiment from Sunshine & Smiles was gold heat embossed and die cut. A few gold glitter gems were added to tie into the gold sentiment. A light spritz of metallic mist over the entire card finished off the design. Simple. Clean.

Taylored Expressions / Memorial Day Sale

The Taylored Expressions Memorial Day Sentiment Sale is starting today! Sentiment stamps and coordinating dies are 20% off. Offer valid 5/20 at 9 am CT through 5/26 at 11:59 pm CT or while supplies last.

The entire TE creative team chose their favorite sentiment set to work with for today's start of the Memorial Day Sale.

I chose to work with the Sundry Sentiments as it pairs beautifully with all the florals in the Taylored Expressions collection.

I worked with the Fresh Cut Flowers in the colors of Dragonfruit, Pineapple, Guava, and Rock Candy cardstocks. I LOVE a black and white strip background. The flowers were layered over a Foil It Stripes background (I left it black and did not foil). Added the sentiment from Sundry Sentiments and some Silver Glitter Drops to finish the card.

My second card uses the Create in Quads Ever in Bloom with the ink colors Pineapple, Honey, Pink Champagne, Peapod, and Avocado. The frame was layered over a Pink Champagne panel that was die cut using the Talking in Circles Piercing Plate.

I added a sentiment from Sundry Sentiments that was foiled using Champagne Fun Foil. The entire card was spritzed with Unicorn Sparkle Metallic Mist. Some White Foil Drops were added to tie in the sparkle of the card.

I've used several of the Year in Bloom flowers to create this basket. They were stamped, colored w/ Copics, and die cut. They were added to the new dies releasing today, Vases and Places......perfect to make your own arrangements! The basket was backed with the new Diamond Stacklets done in Sour Gummy cardstock and spritzed with Unicorn Sparkle Metallic Mist. Finished this off with a tiny tagged sentiment from Itty Bitty Everyday Sentiments.

My second card features a mini slim size paired with the new Petite Scallop Gallery Builder dies.

Mixing the florals up from Year in Bloom again but this time they were layered over white backgrounds that were stamped with Polka Chic background with Oatmilk Ink. The main layer of the card was scored every 1/4" both ways for a fun look and add texture. Another sentiment from Itty Bitty Everyday Sentiments was stamped inside one of the blocks.

Taylored Expressions / For Him Release

Happy May! Taylored Expressions is excited to kick off the month

with the For Him release!

Our new For Him release brings in bold patterns, sporty details, and fresh sentiments designed to help you create masculine cards that speak to your favorite fella.

Taylored Expressions

I have 2 cards to share today using the new For Him products.

The first one uses the Pattern Playground Create in Quads in the colors of Honey, Salt Water Taffy, Tropical Punch, and Green Tea.

After ink blending the ink colors, I was left with 4 panels for some masculine cards. I used the plaid panel first along with the new Little Bits Golf. Using the Wavy Stitch Stacklets along the edge of the plaid panel and adding a frame from A2 Thin Frame Cutting Plate, I created a "landing" place for my sentiment and golf club. The sentiment is from You Are Additions 2.

My second card uses another panel that was ink blended using the Pattern Playgrounds Create in Quads. This time it was framed using the Frame in Frame Cutting Plate. I added a piece of Green Tea cardstock that was trimmed at an angle to great an area for my sentiments from You Are Additions. I finished the card with some Bits & Pieces Clay Stars.
