I've used a stamp set called Text Objects to make an anniversary card to have in my stash.  I know this is more layers than I generally do but it's kinda fun to get out the papers and sewing machine!!!  Love the little quote by Winnie the Pooh that was stamped for the horizontal panel.....

This month we're also saying a fond farewell to Jen del Muro, as this is her last hop as a Verve Diva. She's been a part of the Verve team almost from the very beginning and although we're sad to see her go, we're so excited to see the things she has up her sleeve for the stamping world!

 I was recently sent this gorgeous Glitz {Hello Friend} 6x6 paper pad by a dear friend.  I LOVE it Jen.....thank you!!!  So here I paired this paper with flowers and a sentiment from the stamp set Lean on Me.  I wanted the flowers to stand out so I've used some big pearl brads that I've had in my stash for a while.  I love when I can use some of my "older" stash!

I knew for my first Verve post that I wanted to use some of Verve's FABULOUS floral stamps but to choose......which one?!  I finally settled and used Dream Big and it's coordinating dies.  (Have I mentioned that I LOVE coordinating dies?.....well, I do.)

 

The sentiment is from Treasured Words.......Lovin' that font.....this set covers pretty much every kind of card you'd need!

I have a couple of friends that are having surgery today and they are both in my thoughts today as they recover.  Stacey and Laura......Hope you get well soon!
