WCMD--Thank You Blog Hop!

I'm so excited to be here amongst some AMAZING designers today!!!  These designers were all winners of the WCMD 2013 contest from Paper Crafts Magazine.  I not only won in the THANK YOU category..........my card made the COVER!  So check it out......floral thank you card.  :)

I have a very CAS card to share using some goodies from my WCMD winners box.  I chose to work with the Lil' Inker Designs Spot On stamp set and coordinating Connected Circles Die.  The sentiment is from another Lil' Inker Designs set (not in the WCMD box) called Darling Diamonds stamp set.

I've played with a beautiful fall set called Bountiful Harvest (temporarily sold out....sorry!).  This set has been on my wish list since it came out......now it's mine.  :)  The pattern paper is from the happy-go-lucky collection by Fancy Pants.  This plaid paper was the perfect backdrop for my sentiment.  The banner die is from the latest release called Award Banner.  You can not see it here but I've added Wink of Stella glitter pen in clear to several areas.

CASology meets Paper Smooches!

Yes, it's true.......this is my 3rd post today but I am playing along with several challenges that close soon so I needed to post them today!  I ended up making quite a few cards last evening for WCMD and this was one of them.  I combined 2 challenges for this......CAS cutie!

Please come play today with Wee Memories Scrappy Saturday Challenge!!!  It's World Card Making Day and we're celebrating with this week's challenge and it's also our monthly blog hop.  You should have come by my blog from the very talented, Piali , who is our Guest Designer this month.  This week's challenge is to use your favorite technique or style!  When this challenge was issued, I knew EXACTLY what I'd do. 

I LOVE my Tim Holtz Distress Inks soo much!  Pair those up with a new (to me) stamp set that was purchased at a garage sale last weekend, I had my card made in my head!  First, I embossed the leaves in clear embossing powder on a white panel.  Then using the new Limited Edition Distress Ink colors that I was lucky to get my hands on during last week's trip to KC, I colored in my fall leaf panel and just kept adding color until I liked what I saw.  Easy peasy.  Really.  :)
