Coach's cards
were several sets on this card including: Star Prints (PTI), Let Freedom Ring (PTI), and Grand Slam (TAC--an oldie but goodie). I LOVE how this came together. I had someone comment on how the color "grey" was making a comeback.....now for this card I didn't choose grey but rather these were The Sharks baseball team colors!! Don't you just love the font for this card? This is the font for all the words included in this set!! I created a small bit of my own patterned paper for where the stars are placed. Well, I hope you enjoyed this card......I have a VERY hard time making masculine cards but this one I like!! Stamps: Star Prints (PTI), Let Freedom Ring (PTI), and Grand Slam (TAC)

What a hoot!!

When I attended the annual TAC seminar a couple of weeks ago in Wichita, this NEW stamp set was one of my favorites in the new catalogue called Be Square (set of 5 owls and 3 sentiments).
And you know what? Those that attended received this set while there!! Mischelle Smith wanted to give the seminar attendees one of her "favorite sets". Whahoo!! I couldn't wait to use this cute set when I got home. This card was made for my father-in-law's birthday. Do you notice the shiny eyes? I used crystal laquer on them. Mr. Owl was colored using my SU markers that I've had for eons and the background is Background Basics: Spots and Dots from...you guessed it!! PTI!! Do you see that border punch? This is one of my favorites in the EK Success line. It is so versatile and it embosses!! Well, what do you think? Need to get your hands on one of these owl stamp sets? Email me and I can make it happen!! I am still a demonstrator for TAC and would love to show the new catalogue to you!!
Stamps: Be Square (TAC), Background Basics: Spots and Dots
Paper: Cardstock (brown-Bazzill, kraft/white-PTI)
Ink: Dark Chocolate (PTI), Fresh Snow (PTI)
Other: border punch (EK Success), Square 3/4" punch, Grey Tombow for shading

I'm back.....literally!!

First up, I wanted to share my swap that I took to seminar with me. I used one of my favorite stamp sets called Build-a-flower from TAC and my new favorite punches, the Extra Jumbo flower and Super Jumbo flower punches!! I love these things paired with button centers.
Next up, are a couple of pics of some of the friends I knew and now know a lot better!! We had lots of laughs and definitely stayed up way too late!! Here were my roomies:
From left to right: Jen C., me, Laurie W., and Diane H.Finally, here is a group picture of all us angels that hung out together during seminar!!

An oldie but a goodie!!
I love this cute little quick project. I made this a while back but just had to share. This is made using one of those office supply clips. I used TAC papers and found ribbons to match from my HUGE stash.....one of these days I will take pics of my ribbon drawers. Anyway, I have several of these made and put some wallet size pics in them on my shelves in my scrap/stamp room.

Christmas gifts
This tin is from Papertrey Ink and was "lifted" from somewhere with a few minor changes I made. The red cardstock and ink are Papertrey....yep matching paper/ink!! The aqua cardstock and ink are SU. I absolutely love the versatility of this stamp set......Holiday Treats and who wouldn't like to get a personalized gift like this? These stamps fit exactly on Avery labels and they fit on Hershey nuggets!! This was made for my son's 1st grade teacher.
Now this second project is one using the bind-it-all machine...I love this thing!! I again made this for my son's 1st grade teacher. It is a magnetic notepad that can be personalized with a picture of her children. I did use TAC stamp set Forever Family for the heart and Build-a-Flower for the "happiness". The chipboard for the bases are just coasters you get from restaurants. Nothin' fancy!! Did you notice I also made a pen that matches her notepad?? How cool is that?
Now, we have various tins that were made for my husband's friends at work. I used another set in there this time....Can you see it? Yep, it's the Sweet Goodies stamp set from TAC for the tags!! To make the tags not so "white", I just used a sponge to lightly dab the white tags. This technique just "softens" it up a bit. Now, wait I'm not done yet!!
Here are the tins I made for my boss a.k.a. clinical coordinator and DON where I work. Here I got out my Alcohol inks and started inking them up. Not so traditional colors this time but I think they are oh so cute!!
What do you think?? Let me know!!
