Build a Doily....Part 2

Ok, I really can't stop now!  I am having soo much fun making my own doilies!!  I had some more time yesterday to make more.  For this card.....I used one of my favorite color combinations.
Used lots of elements on this one and thus took me a bit more time to complete (not the doily but the
rest of the card!).  Once you get started making a doily, it really comes together pretty quick!

Here's what stamp sets the elements came from to make my doily:
Borders and Corners:  Circles---inner double ringed circle, flower image in inner circle, and scallops
Guidelines Two---center medallion
Simply Stationery---image surrounding the center medallion and images in scallops
Tea For Two Additions---"enjoy" stamp

I wanted to use my Morroccan Motifs impression plate again and I thought why not use that tiny image from Tea For Two Additions inside the impressions!  It fit perfectly!  I inked up that impressed strip with Chamomile ink so that the impressed areas showed up a bit more.  I finished up with more wrinkle ribbon from etsy and tied on a tea cup and a Simply Chartreuse shanked button.  I did want to mention that I colored on my center brad with some copics to darken it a bit as it was a "gold" color before.

Seriously, you may not have seen the last of the doilies from me!
I'm kinda liking the vintagy look too!

{Enjoy}

PTI Desk Top Organizer template

A couple of months ago, I decided to break down and purchase the PTI Desk Top Organizer Timeless Template(I think of it as a stationery set). I really like the idea of using these; however, my printer doesn't take PTI cardstock very well so I've had to adapt and make an original and trace. Anyway, these turn out sooo cute!! This particular set was made for a friend of mine who graciously lent me her Twilight series books to read (which BTW were awesome). I wanted to thank her for letting me read them. Here I used the PTI stamp set called Friends til the End. I love the look of the flower stamped "off" the paper some and paired with Mega Mixed Messages to the side. Something else I love is that Fresh Snow ink on Pure Poppy cardstock!! It just shows up so nicely. I think I made 4 different note cards and added envelopes. Here is a pic of how I packaged this gift.

Stamps: Friends til the End (PTI), Mega Mixed Messaged (PTI), Simply Stationery (PTI)
Paper: Cardstock (PTI)
Ink: Pure Poppy (PTI), Noir Palette, Fresh Snow (PTI)
Other: Misc. Button, Border punch (EK Success), Pop dots, Glue dots
