Practicing Creativity Designs: Release Day!!

Today is the last day for me as Guest Designer for PCD.  It's been truly a great time!
And it is finally here for the new Practicing Creativity stamp sets to be yours!!
Please go visit the store and snag them while you can!

Look Up! Additions
and
Nature's Wonder

Today, I'm using both of these sets together for one of the trendy "things" right
now in papercrafting:  BANNERS!
If you didn't catch it the other day on my post, this banner stamp and cute "fill-ins" work
PERFECTLY with the medium scallop die!!  I will be using these a lot!!

The letters to spell "h-a-p-p-y" are actually from a phrase off Nature's Wonder just
inked up with a marker individually to stamp the word on the banner!
The "birthday" stamp was heat embossed with white embossing powder and then
colored in with my black marker.  Can you see the scallop circle stamp embossed on
the black panel?  That's another one of the banner choices.....LOVE!

Wow, this release has been super fun!  Thank you all for stopping by and leaving me such
sweet comments.....I truly appreciate every single one of them!
Don't forget to see what the rest of the DT and guest designers have for inspiration
using these new sets today!

Go check all the wonderful cards there!****

Practicing Creativity Designs: Nature's Wonder

I'm back with another release day as Guest Designer for Practicing Creativity Designs.
Today's set is absolutely fabulous (if yesterday's wasn't enough!).
This set has so so many possiblities.  I introduce to you:

Nature's Wonder

I am loving the sentiment sizes in this set......a combo of small and large.
Here I've paired one of both for my card.  I like that the larger ones you can COLOR in
what ever color you want!  Here I used a copic marker to add color.

I wanted to the sentiment and the subtle flowers to take center stage so I
used an embossing folder for the background.

Now, you need to go visit Courtney's blog and the rest of the
Practicing Creativity DT and other guest designers.......they will knock your socks off I'm sure with this set!  Remember to visit Courtney's blog for a chance to win these new sets!  These
new sets will be available on December 3rd.

{With Heartfelt Thanks}

Practicing Creativity Designs: Look Up! Additions

I am so very excited to be able to share with you 2 new sets from
Practicing Creativity Designs this week as a Guest Designer!
Thank you so much Courtney for giving me this opportunity!

Did anyone guess which set we are featuring today with the hints from yesterday?
Well, no more suspense......Here we go!  If you hadn't already guessed it, today I and the rest of the DT
are showing off a sequel to the ever popular set:  Look Up!  So we introduce to you:

Look Up! Additions
This set has a scalloped banner stamp with additional scallop stamps.
I am just tickled with this set as I've been wanting some stamps to go with scallops!

I stamped some clouds from You're Dandy on my brown panel and then ran it
through my Big Shot with an impression plate!  These scallop stamps work perfectly
with the medium scallop die!

Please remember to check out Courtney's blog for a chance to win one of these
new stamp sets!  Make sure to check out the DT blogs as well as the
other guest designers this month for their amazing creations!!

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping during the PCD release!

Practicing Creativity Designs: just a hint!!

Hello!  Is everyone ready for a Practicing Creativity Designs release?
It's finally here.....well, almost!  Today along with the fabulous DT, I will be giving you a teeny hint.
Please visit the list below for everyone's hint for the first set we will be releasing.

It is Holiday/Christmas time around here and one of the many things my family enjoys doing
is watching movies, especially holiday movies.
So, here's my hint:
"One of my favorite holiday movies is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"
I can still remember when I went to see this with my whole family as a kid.......It was a big deal.
My dad even went.....this was unheard of!  Anyway, this was and has always been
a movie that makes me laugh....certainly a great sequel!

To celebrate the holidays, I inked up several PCD stamp sets to make this card for you today.
Can you guess which ones they are?

My "tree" and star are from the You're Dandy stamp set and my tree garland
is made using the stems for the wee flowers from Barefoot Summer
I also used a small portion of a new stamp set that you will get to see later this week
for my sentiment.  You will like, I promise!!

Now go visit the rest of the list for their "hints" too and be ready for a great release
starting tomorrow!

{Wishing You}
