Easter is coming!

I made few quick 3 x 3 cards for my kiddos for their mailboxes for Easter morning!  I love how the PTI dies coordinate with the stamps!  It makes creating....that much easier!  These cards use Egg Hunt from PTI.

You know it was really hard to make a pastel Easter card for a boy but I think I worked it out!  I got a chance to use some new trim I picked up at Archiver's a while back.  The pink rickrack trim is actually fuzzy.....really cool.  The eggs and the word "easter" are popped up on a really thin pop dot.....Just enough dimension.

Well, this is a short one for today!  Have a great spring day!

{Happy Easter}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps:  Egg Hunt, Polka Dot Basics II
Paper:  Aqua Mist, Dark Chocolate, Bitty Box and Bitty Dot Basics paper pads
Ink:  Dark Chocolate, Tea Dye Duo
Misc:  Various trims (Archivers), white rickrack (Wrights), pop dots

Back in time....

I told you all that I was going to go back in time
since I hadn't posted in so long. Here were my kids Easter cards this year. Pretty simple but I liked how they came out. Used a Studio G set here paired with one of my favorite EK Success border punches that I find myself grabbing all the time especially for those "man" cards.

Hope you all have a great weekend. We are going to try to finally make it to the new Transformer movie...we've promised and still have yet to make it there. So, if you've seen it.....don't tell me about it!!

Stamps: Studio G
Paper: Cardstock (Bazzill)
Ink: Dark Chocolate (PTI), various other inks (can't remember!)
Other: EK Success border punch, Pop dots

Whew....it's over!!

We just had my son's 6 year birthday party at OUR house!! YIKES......twelve 6 year olds running around. He wanted to do Transformers theme this year. We played Search for the Allspark (like a treasure hunt where they had to find the Allspark cube where the goodie bags were) and pin the Transformer picture on the poster. It really was fun for him since we ate his favorite food---PIZZA!! Now Tim and I were creative and made his invite on the computer this year and also put together a Transformer Activity/Coloring book that each guest got to take with them home. Here is a pic of the invite:

Now that the party is over, I can concentrate on my stamping!! I did make this cutie for an awesome group of swappers that I participate in monthly. This is the first thing I've had a chance to make with my new rubba!! I hadn't bought an Easter set for a long time so I thought this one was so cute and versatile since it came with several sayings to use.

I used Bazzill cardstock and versamarked the little flower to the background paper. I used the wonderful scallopped circle punch and punched tiny holes around each scallop. I then popped the matted bunny image with a pop dot. The image was coloring in using aquacolor crayons and a water brush. The flowers of course have stickles in the centers to give them that bling!! Very simple but I think it turned out very nice.
