It's time for the newest card kit from Taylored Expressions called Pieced Patterns!
You will love to make some patterns using the patterns included in the kit or create your own!

The pinwheels are my favorite and so fun to piece together!!  I've paired it with the Thanks die and backer and a sentiment from the Simple Strips set called For the Gnomies.

I've paired it with some dies to create the stitched and scalloped edges.  I went with a gold heat embossed sentiment from Hello Lovely.

Taylored Expressions / Young at Heart

Welcome to the Young at Heart Release from Taylored Expressions!

We have released some fun "treat" ideas for those Valentines!

First up, is the Berry Sweet Treat featuring an adorable strawberry!
It easily holds a few treats like the "nuggets" or other small candy.  I've decorated some of mine with the Burlap Background for some added texture.  I added some mini tags (hand trimmed by myself because I don't have the mini tag dies) with burlap string from Taylored Expressions.

Our second treat is the I'm a Sucker for You.  This treat is super quick to assemble and would be easy for some younger hands!  The dies have stitching detail around the edges of the petals and leaves.  I've used a bone folder to loosen the petals and bend them to curve outward.  You can decorate the stems with Washi Tape and this keeps the leaves and flower at the top.  You can use Tootsie Pops or other larger sucker!

Avery Elle / Scoop

Hello!

I am here sharing a "scoop" of happiness!  

The stamp/die set called Scoop from Avery Elle is SO much fun to put together for a shaped card.  This has many layers to keep it sturdy for standing!  I started by stamping the image onto pattern paper for the "bowl" and hand trimming out.  The scoops were colored with Copic markers and sprinkles were added with the additional dies in the set.  The bowl was pieced back to the card and tiny dots were added to the scallops with a black fine marker.

Taylored Expressions / Valentine Release

Welcome to the Valentine Release from Taylored Expressions!

This release is SOO good!

I adore pizza.....I mean, I could eat it every day.  So when I saw this set was releasing, I may have squealed!  Pizza My Heart is so much fun.....you can put as much into it as you want.  I added shading to my layers of the pizza and toppings of my choice.  The best part?  This uses up some of my scraps!

My second card uses the Mosaic Heart Die along with the sentiment set called With Love.  I've used the sentiment by gold heat embossing it several times and die cutting it out to layer behind my heart as faux pattern paper.  I've paired the heart with the new Postage Stamp Stacklets.

Up next is the additon of a Valentine stencil for the very popular Let it Grow Kit that was released earlier this year!  

I LOVE this set!  I blended my pots in a light Toffee color and applied color over the top for the hearts.  I added my pots and greens to the Diamond Piercing Plate and added a frame from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate.

Avery Elle / Pop-Up Frenchie

Hello!

I am here today with the cutest little Pop-Up Frenchie set from Avery Elle!  

With Valentine's Day being the next holiday to send some love and hugs, this card is perfect!  I've used some pattern paper from Avery Elle (now discontinued) but I challenge you to find some pattern paper in your stash to use.......come on, I know you have some!  

I created a layered frame using the Pierced Rounded Frames Elle-ments for my Frenchie to "peek" out of.  Using the heart dies included, I added a few die cut hearts embellished with Stickles.  For the sentiment, I stamped the XOXO repeatedly onto a thin strip of cardstock and adhered with foam adhesive.
