SugarPea Designs / Sneak Peek Day 1 / Giveaway

Hello!!

I am excited to share some of the projects I've been working on for the brand new release from SugarPea Designs! Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release. You are all going to love this release!!!

I started by ink blending some Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, and Scattered Straw Distress Inks over some circle cut outs I made with post it notes. Over the top, the burst stamps from Cheers to You were stamped with the same Distress Ink colors.

I added some gold heat embossed stars, champagne glasses with bubbles, and a Congratulations sentiment strip. The Cheers word was die cut from gold mirror cardstock and layered with the shadow die cut. As finishing touches, several gold gems were added over the card.

This new set of snowflakes is beautiful.......love the whimsy!

I started with masking off my card and ink blended Festive Berries Distress Oxide Ink using a blender brush. Once done, I heat embossed Chunky White Embossing Enamel over the top to resemble snow! For my snowflakes, I white heat embossed them and using the emboss resist technique, Festive Berries ink was blended over the top. The snowflakes were die cut, added to the panel. and a simple sentiment strip stamped with a sentiment in the same ink was added with foam adhesive. A few white gems were added to the snowflake centers.

SugarPea Designs / Mix It Up Challenge #62

I couldn't help but make a red and white background just like the presents!

The Diagonal Striped Cover Plate was die cut twice......once from white cardstock and once from red cardstock. After adhering the white striped panel to a white notecard, the red strips were inlaid back into the panel with adhesive. When I think of red and white at the holidays, I think of Santa. The sentiment, from Oh So Jolly, was perfect and was stamped onto a Zig Zag Stitched Circle. A few holly and berries were stamped, trimmed, and added for a pop of color!

Avery Elle / Party Tags

Hello! I am here sharing a masculine project using the newly released Party Tags from Avery Elle. I have a special birthday in my family this month so I was glad to use these tags for something other than holiday.

I chose a color palette with cardstocks and started die cutting the two smaller tags at the same time. This made it super quick! Using Pure White Embossing Powder, sentiments from Simple Sentiments were stamped on two of the tags. Once done, all the tags were adhered to a white note card and the edges trimmed neatly.

For my gift tag, the largest tag was die cut with white cardstock and another with the green pattern card stock from The Harvest Collection. The large sentiment from Hooray was stamped in Jungle Pigment Ink onto the tag along with the 'happy birthday' from Simple Sentiments. To finish, the tags were tied off with twine.

While the main kit is fabulous, I created with some of the amazing add-ons for this month.

Starting with Beautiful World. I clear heat embossed the image onto Bristol Smooth Cardstock and colored with pastel colors using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I stamped one of the included sentiments from the set with black ink. The panel was trimmed, added to a panel of light blue cardstock down the left side, and adhered to a white notecard.

My second card uses the World Window Fancy Die. I die cut the world die from white cardstock and then added a very thin pink die cut circle frame. My panel was trimmed to 4x4 and added with foam adhesive to a 4.25" x 4.25" notecard that was lined with a pool colored textured cardstock. To finish, a simple sentiment strip done in white was added with foam adhesive over the top.

My final card uses the Earth Nature Fancy Die with Frame. The image was die cut from black cardstock and adhered over a panel of navy cardstock that was distressed with white pigment ink. A simple sentiment from Staggering Branches was white heat embossed. The entire oval focal point was spritzed with Clear Shimmer Spray. Once dry, the oval panel was adhered with foam adhesive.

25 Days of Christmas Tags / Hello Bluebird

In My Creative Opinion

My tag was created using the Stitched Tag Builder Die. Using the largest tag, I used it to die cut a piece of paper that was stamped using the Country Gingham Background Stamp. I added a glittery trimmed hill to the bottom and added my Copic colored penguin from Snow Play. For the sentiment, it was stamped onto a speech bubble from Photo Stack Die.

I have a card to share using one of the recent adorable sets, Joyous Holiday. I started with my background. First, Fossilized Amber and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks were ink blended onto a white notecard. The Large Diamond Cover Panel was "impressed" into the notecard using an embossing mat.

I added a white heat embossed sentiment strip cut at an angle. The cute images from Joyous Holiday were stamped, Copic colored, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.
