SugarPea Designs / Sneak Peek Day 4 / Giveaway

Cutie Pie

I hope you'll join me here over the next 2 days as I share Sweet Peeks for the all the NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, September 13th at 6PM EST in the SPD Store

If you are not in the mood for PIE after today's post, then you aren't a fan.  :)

Using the Cutie Pie SugarCut, I pieced together my pumpkin pie.  I layered it on a Message Letter Board with the cute punny sentiment.  The letter board panel was adhered to a card layered with a panel that was impressed with the new Leaf CoverPlate.  A bit of twine for a bow finished this off perfectly.

My next card uses the Sweet as Pie stamp set along with the Cutie Pie SugarCut.

I started with a panel of white/black Buffalo Check Background that was trimmed and added to the scallop layer from Card Front Element Builder SugarCut.  I pieced together the pie from Cutie Pie, added a die cut pumpkin, and added this all to a stamped sentiment strip to ground the image.

Today I am sharing the adorable Christmas Car SugarCut.  I can not wait to use this die for other cards!

I started with that amazing Buffalo Check background done in black on aqua cardstock.  I added a black silhouette treeline using the TreeScape SugarCut (previously released) along with the curved die for my snowy road.  I added a tree and wrapped it with twine to the car!  At the bottom of my road, I left enough space to stamp the sentiment from Oh So Jolly Sentiments in bold black ink.

Let's just say I had some fun creating LOTS of backgrounds with this new Geo Snowflake Stencil!

This background was done using a light brushing of Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink over the Geo Snowflake Stencil in an ombre fashion.  I added a row of stamped (and non-colored!) trees.  The bear from Hey Winter was colored with Copics and die cut.  I love that you can add a "sweater" with the included stamps!  A simple black sentiment was stamped and as a last detail, glossy accents was added to the bear's nose.

SugarPea Designs / Sneak Peek Day 1 / Giveaway

Snow Globe1

Hello!!
I am excited to share some of the HOLIDAY projects I've been working on for the brand new release from SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  You are all going to love this release!!!

I hope you'll join me here over the next 5 days as I share Sweet Peeks for the all the NEW products that will be available for purchase starting this Friday, September 13th at 6PM EST in the SPD Store

Starting the release is this ADORABLE set called Gnome for Christmas.
Even better is that SugarPea Designs now has their own Buffalo Check Background!

My card features the cute gnome holding a mug of coffee.  The images were Copic colored and die cut.  They were arranged onto the new Snow Globe SugarCut!  The sky was ink blended with Seedless Preserves and Salty Ocean Distress Inks.  Once the background was dry, the snow flake die from the Snow Globe was used.  For some sparkle, I added Crystal Stickles into all of the snow cutouts.  The base of the Snow Globe was die cut using some woodgrain cardstock from my stash.

Let's talk about that Buffalo Check background.  I went with a tone on tone background using a plum cardstock and Versamark ink.  To give it just a bit different look, on the second inking I moved my paper over just a bit for a bit of a shadow stamping.

STAMPtember with Reverse Confetti

Wonderful You

It's time for the reveal of the STAMPtember set from Reverse Confetti!

My first card was white heat embossed and then ink blended with Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks.  A simple white heat embossed sentiment onto vellum was adhered across the center.  A few clear dew drops were added for shine.

My second card is a CAS version.  The image was stamped in several Altenew green inks and the simple sentiment was stamped in black ink.  My panel was layered with a tiny strip of black pattern paper from This & That and layered over Avocado cardstock.
