We are sharing the last of the goodies for release including Keep Forever Tags and Enjoy Tag Set.

I stamped my diagonal tag in some fun colors onto a die cut panel done with the Postage Stamp SugarCut.  They fit perfectly!  I added this panel to a coordinating pink cardstock.  To embellish, I added a die cut star (from Stacked Stars) out of silver glitter paper, a black white heat embossed banner and enjoy sentiment (from Enjoy Tag Set), along with some silver gems.

Hello Bluebird / Portrait Pals

Portrait Pals

Hello everyone!
It's time to celebrate the newest additions to Hello Bluebird.  Today is the last day of inspiration before all the adorable sets release for February!

I am such a fan of critter stamps.  Introducing some new critters.......Portrait Pals!  These pair easily with the new Photo Stack Dies.

I Copic colored my Koala, Tiger, and Elephant and die cut using the coordinating dies.  I ink blended some Twisted Citron Distress Ink in the photo frames and added my critters.  I ink blended some die cut foliage, Tropical Foliage Die, and added them behind my critters.  I added my black Polaroid frames, a few gems, and two stamped sentiments from Typed Everyday.

It's Easter time soon and we have Easter Wishes, Easter Word Die, and Egg Window Die releasing this week.

I started my card with a piece of white woodgrain cardstock and ink blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink in the upper and lower portions of the paper.  A white panel was die cut using the Card Front Element Builder and Bundled Sage Distress Ink was blended in from the center (I didn't care about harsh lines in the center because I will be die cutting the Egg Window out of the center.)  When die cut with the Egg Window Die, I was left with beautiful soft green foliage.  I added this panel with foam adhesive to my woodgrain cardstock.

The sentiment and bunny were die cut from Rose Gold Glitzy Cardstock and added to the card.  To finish the sentiment, I rose gold embossed the 'blessings' under the die cut Easter.  As finishing touches, I added a fluffy white pom pom for a tail and some Expresso gems from Pretty Pink Posh.

Nothing screams spring more than gingham!  I started with stamping a pink background using the Country Gingham Background.  I added some die cut grass and clouds using the Grassy Knoll Dies.  My frame was done with the Gallery Frame #2 Dies and was lighted brushed with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  My images were Copic colored and added with foam adhesive for dimension.

Today's card is probably my favorite of the release!  I LOVE this new set called Tutti Fruiti.  My husband and I LOVE margaritas and thought this would be fitting for Valentine's Day!

I had so much fun stamping all the fruit from this set, so stay tuned there will be more coming soon!  For all my fruit, I used Avery Elle Pigment Inks (or Fresh Inks if you have them).  Pigment inks give AMAZING coverage for solid stamps.  No splotchiness that you get from some dye inks.

I paired my limes with one of my all time favorite die sets from SugarPea Designs called Postage Stamp CoverPlate.  I die cut all the hearts and postage stamp out of cardstocks and layered them onto a striped paper from Spots & Stripes Brights Paper Pad.  I stamped little sentiment strips and hand trimmed a banner edges.  I tucked them behind my limes (that were embellished with coarse glitter from Avery Elle) and added a few lime green gems!

CASology / Guest Designer

CASology2

Hello!
So honored to be creating alongside the team over at CASology which is one of my favorite CAS challenges!  This week's Cue Card made me long for summer, warm weather, and the ocean!

I know creating a scene is a bit daunting to some.  I have a tip for you when you go to create a scene......keep it simple and scale down the dimensions.

Here I ink blended Dried Marigold and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks onto a trimmed panel.  Using the Waves on the Border Die from Technique Tuesday, I was able to pull in my waves using this awesome die.  I adhered my border to my inked panel and trimmed the sides.  I added some Copic colored fish from Olive the Octopus and a sentiment from Wendell the Whale.
