Fruit Stand and Avery Elle

Fruit Stand3

Hello!  I am sharing a card that can be seen over on the Avery Elle blog today using Fruit Stand.
Fruit Stand is a perfect set for creating an adorable scene for spring or summer.  I know I have many memories of visiting fruit/vegetable stands with my mom as a kid!  I paired the cute images from Fruit Stand with the Picket Fence Elle-ments.

Happy Easter with Pretty Pink Posh

Easter

Happy Easter!  I have had this card made for a while just waiting to share it today.  Who doesn't love a cute shaker card??

I knew I had to use this adorable kiddo all dressed up in the bunny costume from Easter Friends!  I colored my images (bunny, basket, and eggs) all with Copics and cut them out with coordinating dies.  I then set work to make my shaker.

Easter3

After adhering some plaid paper over a white panel, I used a standard circle die to make the shaker opening in the panel.  Using the Scallop Circle Dies, I created a white frame for my shaker.  I saved the purple circle I cut out to be used to layer along with a scrap of white polka dot vellum (this created my background for the shaker).  To fill the shaker, I added the colored/die cut eggs along with seed beads in Lilac, Petunia, and Hydrangea from Pretty Pink Posh.

I added my images with foam adhesive and a hand cut vellum banner with the sentiment stamped in StazOn black ink.

Thank you so much for sharing a part of your holiday with me!

SFYTT with Reverse Confetti

SFYTT

Happy Easter!!!  I am sharing a card using the current SFYTT (Sketch For You to Try) over at the Reverse Confetti blog.  Check out the SFYTT post......HERE for all the details!

Since today is Easter, I thought it only fitting to use the bunny image from More Than Jellybeans as my focal point of the sketch.  I used a retiring Confetti Cut, Tassel, as the grass and as part of the sketch!  I've layered my image onto a die cut Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cut.  To tie the card together, I layered a piece of polka dot paper from True Love onto a piece of Dark Roast Cardstock.

Today's stamp set feature is really not in the above categories but in the FUN/CUTE category!  This Little Piggy is an adorable pig set with matching dies.  I've adhered a piece of pattern paper from Sugar & Spice to a top folding notecard.  For my focal point, I trimmed down one of the pieces of pattern paper from one of the paper collections that had the ombre look to use as a sky.  I added my piggies (Copic colored)  with foam adhesive and my stamped sentiment (on a banner from Gift Tag Die).  I also included a die cut heart from Heart Journal Card Die.

Homemade with Love with Right at Home

Homemade with Love3

Welcome to the Homemade with Love week using Right at Home products!
I just returned home from a crafty weekend filled not only with papercrafting but crafting in general.    It's always fun to create handmade gifts with our papercrafting supplies.

DIY Sticky Notes Holder by Yuki // Homemade with Love Day #3 - rightathomeshop.com/blog

I created a mini burlap banner using mostly Taylored Expressions felt (because it is fantastic quality) and dies from Right at Home.  The banner is nothing fancy but will give some sunshine to a friend of mine who is going through a rough time.  I started by trimming 3 rectangles of burlap.  I didn't back the burlap with anything before working with it as its not going to be handled much once its hung.

Using dies from the Find the Beauty Die Set, I die cut various blooms and "leaves" from colors of felt.   Once cut, I arranged them on my burlap rectangles how I wanted them.  To attach them to the burlap, I simply stitched them using French Knots and a few stitches on the back side.  I love the simplicity of only using French Knots!  I also die cut the "hello" word die from Find the Beauty Die Set using black felt and used Glossy Accents to adhere to my middle banner.  Once done, I simply attached my three banners to thick twine with mini white clothes pins.
