Lil' Inker Designs Release: Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the Lil' Inker Designs April Release!  This release is FULL of amazing dies and stamps that are so versatile.......are you ready?  You should have arrived from one of our newest DT members...........Angel Rivera's blog.   Woot woot!!!!  But guess what??  The whole new release is now available and can be found HERE!!!

Today, I'm sharing some great new products with a Tribal Chic flair.  I just love background building and the new Tribal Chic is perfect for creating those tribal patterns in whatever color combination you'd like!  I went with pink, clay, navy, turquoise, and seaglass which were all colors of pigment inks.  To create my focal point, I die cut some of the Dual Stitched Triangle Dies, layered them over a trimmed piece of vellum, and added a matching sentiment.  To finish, I added coordinating sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to the triangles tucking some under the sentiment.  I almost forgot......there are Tribal Chic papers too!  Stay tuned later in this release!

Next up is the amazing new Cover Up Die: Tribal Chic.  This die gives so much added texture to a card!  I've paired it with the previously released Fancy Feathers Stamps and Dies.

SFYTT with Reverse Confetti

 

Hello!  I am here sharing a card using the current SFYTT (Sketch For You to Try) over at the Reverse Confetti blog.  Check out the SFYTT post......HERE for all the details!

Today I'm using the newest set in the Dawn Machell line called Bear Hugs.  There is just one word for this set.......ADORABLE.  My koala was colored with Copics and die cut using the Bear Hugs Confetti Cuts.  For the focal point, I've die cut the circles from Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts.  To accent my diagonal piece of the sketch, I've used a die from the Edge Essentials Confetti Cuts.  Love how that one little accent adds to the design!

SugarPea Designs--April Sweet Peek Day 4

 

Hello!  Welcome to Day 4 of the brand new release for SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  With several new stamp sets, matching dies, and even some new products.......there's something you are sure to love!  The entire April Product Release will be available starting Friday, April 15th at 6pm EST in the SPD Store.

Today we share my FAVORITE set from this release!  I literally squealed when I saw how cute this set is!  Introducing Quackers and coordinating Quackers SugarCuts.

I began with a watercolor wash background and framed this using the Zig Zag Stitched Circles SugarCuts.  This gave me a smaller area to create my focal point.  The adorable duck and cat tails were colored in with Copics, die cut. and adhered with foam adhesive.  A tiny bit of Glossy Accents was added to the duck's bill.  I layered my focal piece over some striped paper and a large banner I created.

Hello!  I'm sharing a card using the set called Stoked which is packed with images for boys!  Skateboard, Band, and Snowboarding!  

I began by creating my background with the Burst Elle-ments and Double Pierced Squares Elle-ments using white cardstock.  I layered a piece of star pattern paper from The Everyday Collection papers from Avery Elle behind my burst panel.  This was added with foam adhesive to a trimmed notecard.  

My skateboard image was colored with Copics and cut with coordinating die.  The speech bubble was stamped, die cut, and adhered with foam adhesive.  The last touch I wanted to add was some of the die cut stars from Finished Frames Elle-ments Dies.  They match perfectly with that pattern paper!

Hello!  Welcome to Day 3 of the brand new release for SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  With several new stamp sets, matching dies, and even some new products.......there's something you are sure to love!  The entire April Product Release will be available starting Friday, April 15th at 6pm EST in the SPD Store.

Today, we are sharing a set called Pineapple Paradise and coordinating Pineapple Paradise Sugar Cuts.  I started with creating my layering panel.  I found this perfect "green" striped paper in my stash and with the second to largest Zig Zag Stitched Rectangle Die, I layred it over my panel and die cut a panel from my pattern paper.  Using SugarPuff Foam, I mounted my panel and adhered.  I love the detail of the zig zag stitching on the inset panel!  

I've stamped the pineapple in Delicata Gold Ink and the topper was done using Mojito ink from Fresh Ink.  I've layered my pineapple over a messy bunch of gold thread and some gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added.

Right at Home April Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Right at Home April Release Blog Hop!!  We are excited to share some inspiration using this month's new stamp sets!  This release consists of 4 new stamp sets that are perfect for any time of the year.

I have 2 very different cards to share today!  First, is my favorite because it involves rainbow, watercolor, and heat embossing with emboss resist.  I started with embossing the large open sentiment "awesome", from Color in Sentiments, onto the smooth side of a piece of trimmed Tim Holtz watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and Clear embossing powder.  (this is the only way I black heat emboss).  Next, I used Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire, and Wilted Violet Distress Inks and painted stripes across my black embossing.  The panel was adhered to a top folding notecard using foam adhesive.  A tiny white heat embossed banner was added to finish my sentiment!

Now, I did want to show off the Handmade by Me stamps by embellishing my envie on the front and the back as well as the back of my card.  I love these little finishing touches to my project!

My second card was made using the Right at Home Back to School Die Set (previously released).  I created the black board using the dies from the set and white heat embossing the sentiment, 'Thank You' from Tiny Sentiments.
