Reverse Confetti March Blog Hop!

Happy St.Patty's

Welcome to the March Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Have you seen some amazing new stuff this week from Reverse Confetti?  With 4 new stamp sets, 6 new Confetti Cuts, and new QCP.....there is something for everyone for this release!  I just LOVE that we have some SPRING goodies to share!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

Since we are going to be gone on vacation during St. Patty's Day, I thought I'd make a card and send it to a friend.  I started by watercoloring stripes in Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.  I used the Happy Pretty Panel as my focal point and white heat embossed the sentiment from Whole Lotta Happy.  My clover was made using heart dies from Love Note Confetti Cuts and some iridescent sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh) were added that matched.

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Rose Garden

Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti March Release!  We are celebrating with .....4 new stamp sets, 6 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

I love to have birthday cards on hand so I've paired a few new products from the March release for this one!

I started with a white top folding notecard.  I "impressed" one of the Double Panel Hearts Confetti Cuts into the front of the card twice for some texture.  Over this, I sponged some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  Using the new Rose Garden set and coordinating dies, I've stamped my roses in various pigment inks for perfect coverage.  For a bold statement, I white heat embossed my sentiment onto black strips of cardstock using Whole Lotta Happy.  As a final touch, I've added some 4mm small clear droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Butterfly Dreams

Welcome to Day 2 of the Reverse Confetti March Release! We are celebrating with .....4 new stamp sets, 6 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month! Wahoo! Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

Starting today's inspiration.......Butterfly Dreams.  What a gorgeous bold butterfly set!  Love that this set ties into other previously released sets!  I stamped the largest butterfly with the "Kindness Matters" sentiment in the Pink/Red Ombre Hero Arts ink as well as the smaller butterflies.  All images were diecut using the Buttefly Dreams Confetti Cuts.  I did a bit of ink splattering and all my images and main panel were spritzed with shimmer spray.  A few sizes of sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were added as finishing touches!

I always love starting the release with the adorable set from Dawn Machell!  This month is NO exception!!!  Introducing: Unicorn Wishes.  These mini sets just keep getting better and better!

I began my card with a panel of watercolor cardstock that I painted stripes in rainbow fashion using watered down Distress Inks.  I used that same palette to color in the Unicorn, stars, and shooting star.  Images were all cut with the coordinating Unicorn Wishes Confetti Cuts.  I couldn't capture the shimmer here but there is loads of Wink of Stella on the stars!

Sugar Pea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Celebration!

2nd Birthday Bash2

Hello!  I'm so excited to be helping Sugar Pea Designs celebrate their 2nd birthday!

My non-traditional birthday card uses a sentiment from Special Delivery stamped in rainbow fashion onto a panel that was diecut using the amazing Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles.  Rainbow colors scream birthday, right?  :)  To add an embellishment, I diecut the letter from Special Delivery Accents and colored the tiny heart with Copic R29.  All the panels were offset just a bit to jazz it up.

2nd Birthday Bash

Now you can't have a Birthday Bash without prizes!

There will be prizes during the celebration!  There will be a lucky winner of a $100 Gift Certificate to someone who comments on all the blogs in the hop.  See list below.

Texture via embossing folder!

CAS(E) this Sketch

Hello!  Stopping by with a card for the current (and ending soon) CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge.  I loved the simplicity of this sketch but ended up doing my own thing.  :)

I used the Flower Wrap Confetti Cuts to cut a piece of kraft wrapping paper.  I love this paper because it has stripes and is much thinner than cardstock!  I added blooms from scraps of watercolor paper that I already had done and a few vellum leaves from Leafy Confetti Cuts

My diecut sentiment from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts was layered onto a tag from In the Bag Confetti Cuts.  All this was layered onto my top folding notecard that was "impressed" with a polka dot embossing folder for "texture"!  I simply laid my paper over the raised portion of the EF (leaving the EF open) and ran it through my Big Shot.

I also am going to link this up to the Simon Wednesday Challenge Touchy Feely: Add Texture!
