Lil' Inker Designs November Monthly Meetup Challenge!

Awesome2

Hi!  It's November and we are ready for another Monthly Meetup Challenge over on the Lil' Inker Designs blog!  Go check out the Lil' Inker Designs store!!!

I am still in watercoloring mode here in my craft area.  I began by impressing the Stitched Stars Die Set into a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  Next, I used my Mini Distress Inks in bright colors and loosely watercolored the stars.  I did not worry about being messy.  :)  I stamped a tiny partial sentiment from Shiny Happy Sentiments and white heat embossed.  I added this with foam adhesive and adhered the die cut words.....Seriously and Awesome underneath.

November Verve Diva Inspiration Hop!

Diva Hop2

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings! You have until December 5 to link up, so feel free to play as often as you like.

Our November challenge is Rustic Winter

The days are turning cold and the splendor of fall is changing to the magesticly rustic beauty of a winter woodland. This month we're challenging you to bring a little bit of that rustic winter to your creations. Follow the graphic or head off on your own trail, just show us your rustic winter creations!

I played on this challenge with all the wood and brown tones in the inspiration photo.  I started with a piece of wood paper from this pack of Real Wood Veneer that I won from a UK friend ages ago!  This stuff can be cut down, stamped on, and diecut!  You can find it HERE.  I drew a circle around a standard circle die and used that as my placement for my sprigs from Sprightly Sprigs die set into a wreath shape.  I embossed with white embossing powder a sentiment from Holiday Treats.  Lastly, I added red gems and a burlap twine bow.

Challenge deadline: Thursday, December 5.

Crazy for Christmas with Reverse Confetti

Treat Bag Toppers

Welcome to the online event........Crazy for Christmas with Reverse Confetti!  There will be lots of inspiration using Reverse Confetti product for amazing Christmas projects!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti Blog for a full list!  Today we are sharing projects that will get you "Ready to Party"!

I wanted to spice up some treat bags and make some decorative toppers.  I began by diecutting the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts with silver glitter paper and embellishing them with clear gems.  I added these to a small clothespin that had 3 strips of white tulle tucked in.

My treat toppers are holding a diecut tag from the Thanks Tag Confetti Cuts.  They were stamped with words from the new set called With Love and some stars from You Are a Star.  The tags were then silver heat embossed.  These tags are just gorgeous!  Here is a grouping of the bags and toppers I created!

Concord & 9th Guest and New Release!

Shine Brighter

Hello!  Happy Monday!  I am excited to share today's card with you as I am a Guest Designer for a new company called Concord & 9th.  Today ALSO happens to be a new release day!

Concord & 9th

I recently ordered some of these fabulous Happy Hues notecards/envelopes.  These are AMAZING!  Watercoloring at its easiest!  :)  What's even better?  The watercoloring pattern is on the front AND the back!

While I love the notecards, I must admit that I am frugal.  So I decided to trim one of the green hue notecards down so that it could be used as a panel for my card.  (this way I have another panel for later use!)  Shine Brighter is a new stamp set just released today that has matching dies.  There are SO many possibilities with this set!  I went in the holiday direction and stamped the tiny tree and ornaments inside my lightbulb.  Some of the new 3mm Sequin Strands were fixed to the bottom of my bulb and tied off with some silver thread.  A scattering of some of the tiny sequins were adhered with Multi Medium Matte.

I want to thank Angie and Greg for having me as a Guest!  I'll have more to share later!

Reverse Confetti November Blog Hop!

Gift Card Holder Tag5

Welcome to the November Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Have you seen some amazing new stuff this week from Reverse Confetti?  We have something for everyone to help you gift and share handmade kindness this holiday season and beyond!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

I've brought back the Gift Card Holder Tag Die for one of today's projects.  I used the debossed rectangle to cut an opening in the tag to create my own shaker tag using sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.  My sentiment is from Seasonal Sentiments and was stamped before the tag was assembled.

I embellished my shaker tag with a die cut wreath from Wreaths Confetti Cuts and added a tiny bow from Tagged Tote Confetti Cuts.

Holly Jolly QCP2

My last project uses the new Quick Card Panels: Holly Jolly which I layered with black glitter cardstock.  I addded some die cut Holly Confetti Cuts.  This goes to show just how easy of a card you can quickly create using the QCP's!

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

Bubbly Tag Topper

Welcome to Day 3 of the November Release from Reverse Confetti!  As you can probably tell, this release is all about TAGS and other things that will be FUN to use for holiday gifts and all year round!

Today we are sharing another new die but this time it's for the Topped Off Tag that was introduced yesterday!  It's called the Bubbly Tag Toppers.

I couldn't help but create a few colorful tag "cards" for my daughter to use when she goes to birthday parties.  What a great way to add a card and PERSONALIZE it too!  You all know the scenario.......you buy a gift last minute and hate to spend money on those store cards because they are so EXPENSIVE!!!  Tag cards to the rescue!

I've used the Topped Off Tag Die and added a Bubbly Tag Topper.  My sentiment is from the new set called With Love.  For the inside, I've stamped and personalized the tag cards with a new alphabet set called Alphabetical.  Now, they are ready to go except stamping the recipients name!

Alphabetical

Now for the Blog Hop, there are TWO $15 prizes up for grabs this release:  1 for blog commenters and 1 for Facebook commenters.  So leave those comments and make sure to check the Reverse Confetti Facebook page too!

Details can be found over on the Reverse Confetti blog for all the prizes!
