Reverse Confetti September Blog Hop!

Thankful2

Welcome to the September Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!  Have you seen some amazing new stuff this week from Reverse Confetti?  With 6 new stamp sets and 8 new Confetti Cuts.....there is something for everyone for the FALL!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

My first card uses the new  Thankful Pretty Panel die.  I actually cut this die out many times and "cut out" the "thankful".  I used these thankful words to layer on some brown cardstock.  My main panel is a piece of textured cardsock I've had in my stash for years.  Next, I've layered a black "thankful" onto a pumpkin die from Pumpkin Patch and adhered to the textured panel along with some gold sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh) and burlap twine.

Next up, is this gorgeous faith based set called Walk by Faith.  I kept this very simple to let that sentiment take center stage.  I stamped my sentiment onto vellum and set aside.  Using light gray cardstock, I diecut some circles from Circles 'n Scallops Confetti Cuts to "frame" my sentiment.

I diecut many of the new Leafy Confetti Cuts using vellum and one using light gray.  I adhered the gray Leafy diecut to the center of my card.  Next, I began layering my circle elements over the top.  The scalloped circle was adhered with foam adhesive for dimension to achieve that "framed" look.  The vellum Leafy diecuts were then added around the perimeter.  To finish, a few clear sparkling clear sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh) were added to the top and bottom of the sentiment.

Countdown to Confetti: Day 3

CaffeinatedCups2

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti September Release!  We are celebrating with .....6 new stamp sets, 8 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

Today we are sharing projects using a set that so many coffee lovers will LOVE!  It's called For the Love of Latte and has coordinating Confetti Cuts called Caffeinated Cups!  The cup die coordinates with a previously released set called Be a Barista.

I used one of the new Fall Fun QCP (Quick Card Panels) released this month to layer my coffee goodies.  I love how these panels can just be stamped on directly.  I used Versafine Onxy Black and there was no smudging.  I die cut my Caffeinated Cups and added a teal "trim" to the coffee cozy to coordinate with the rest of the card.  A few diecut banners using the new Double Scallop Garland were added with some Peacock sequins (from Pretty Pink Posh).

My first card uses the new Pumpkin Patch stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.

I started with a white notecard and layered a trimmed layer of kraft cardstock.  Over this, I added a trimmed piece of burlap cardstock that I have had for a LONG time but was perfect for this card!  I frayed the edges with my fingernail for a distressed look.  I added my stamped and diecut pumpkin over a few angled cut banners.  To finish, I added several sizes of gold sequins to coordinate with the gold banner.

Oh how I LOVE these cute images from Dawn Machell!!!  This month's set is called Too Cute to Spook and it also has coordinating Too Cute to Spook Confetti Cuts!  Look at that kitty!!!  ♥♥

My images were all stamped with Versafine black ink onto watercolor paper, watercolored with Distress Inks, and diecut.  I used one of the new QCP's from this release called Fall Fun to layer and build my scene.  My sentiment banners were attached with a small staple to the bottom right to hide some of the bold black.

Next up is an ADORABLE concept for a stamp set!  It's called Easy as Pie.  It includes fabulous sentiments that really work for any occasion!!  I started with a watercolored background using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink for a bold blue color.....LOVE!  I added my trimmed watercolor panel to a white notecard where I had added a black and white strip of paper to the left side.

EasyAsPie

I diecut the new tag from Thanks Tag twice......one from white and one from light gray.  I love that this tag set also includes the "reinforcer" for the circle.....this was done in black.  This tag works perfectly to stamp my sentiment from Easy as Pie.  LASTLY, I added a diecut PIE!  OMG.....look how adorable it is!!
