Congrats using Paper Smooches

Hello!  I think I am almost back to reality.  If you wondered where I've been, I counted and in the last 2 weeks, we've watched 19 softball/baseball games!  My son has one more day left (Saturday) and then we will be done until fall ball starts.  I love watching them play!  I don't know what we will do with our evenings now.......no more packing coolers of water, filling water bottles, packing snacks, hauling tons of gear.  Actually this season, the weather really hasn't been that bad with the heat.  I've definitely sat through worse summers at the ball fields!

So this week will be more "normal"........it's Lil' Inker Designs Release Week!!!!!  There are some fabulous new stamps and dies releasing......so stay tuned!!

Pip Squeaks2

I have a cute card share today using more of the July Paper Smooches release!  This one is using the adorable Pip Squeaks stamps and now MATCHING dies!  I paired this with several older products.......Power Rays Die and Border 1 Dies.  I used the tiny heart from Pip Squeaks to stamp along my "hills".  I just love this adorable sentiment too!

SFYTT with Reverse Confetti

SFYTT2

Hello!  I am here sharing a card using the current SFYTT over at the Reverse Confetti blog.  I can't get enough of the My World and Globe Confetti Cuts

July15

There are endless possibilities with the Globe Confetti Cuts and coordinating My World sentiments.  I've had this globe pattern paper in my stash and honestly, I don't remember the manufacturer but thought it was perfect to use with this sentiment!  I've also used the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts panel in the background as the strip at the bottom.  My sentiment was stamped onto a flag from Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts.

Now the best part is.......there is always a winner every month!  Here are the details:

The winner will receive a $20 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of ‘Fetti Fave. The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 30th of each month.
Check out the SFYTT post......HERE.

So let's see your Reverse Confetti creations this month.....you still have time to get it done!

Hello.....Paper Smooches

Dainty Flowers2

Hello!  I'm here with a card share for Paper Smooches as their July Guest Designer!

I've created a little rainbow watercolor background for these Dainty Flowers Dies using some Zig Clean Color Brush Markers.  I love how they stand out in black with the rainbow background!  The Hello sentiment was done using the Hello Word Dies which was perfectly paired with the Dainty Flowers!  I added in a few of my favorite Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins for the finishing touch.

Build a Bug with Paper Smooches

Hello!
Paper Smooches just released a bunch of fabulous new dies.  One including called Build a Bug.  There are many possibilities with this die set!

This card was up on the Paper Smooches blog a few days ago.  I used the dies to make a ladybug and added a sentiment from Giddy Bugs stamp set.  I added a polka dot border down the left side using Washi tape.

July Verve Diva Inspiration Hop!

Inspiration Hop2

It's time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! There are two ways to win Verve prizes: comment on the design team's blog hop posts (linked below) to see their take on the inspiration, then go get inky and link up your take on the challenge to be eligible in our prize drawings! You have the rest of the month to link up, so feel free to play as often as you like.

Our July challenge is Sensational Stripes

Stripes go with everything! Make them nautical, or pair with florals for a graphic look. Use stripes however you're inspired! Use the inspiration graphic or head off in your own direction, just show us your stripes!

What a fun inspiration challenge!  I decided to pull in stripes for my background using pattern paper.  I watercolored some butterflies from Blue Skies and trimmed out by hand.  I attached some silver thread for the body and antenna.  The butterflies were layered onto layered Tagged Rectangle Dies.  My sentiment, from Borderline, was white heat embossed and cut using the Flag It Die Set.

Challenge deadline: Saturday, July 31.
Prize: $30 gift voucher to the Verve online store!

Texture with embossing folders!

Hello!  Just a quick share today with a Taylored Expressions card I had up over the Taylored Expressions blog last week.

My card uses some added texture from one of those sometimes less used craft supplies.......Embossing Folders!  I added texture to my "new home hills" by using my embossing folder as an impression plate!  For all the "how-to"........please visit the Taylored Expressions blog HERE.

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I am the next stop! It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti stamp sets and dies!  The new release is AVAILABLE now!

****************************************************************

I'm starting out with a colorful card using the new Weather it Together stamps and Confetti Cuts.  This set is so adorable and perfect for small scene building!  I love love this set!  I layered vellum together and added zig zag machine stitching around the perimeter,  This was added to a rainbow square of pattern paper from Doodlebug Design.    I added 3 diecut clouds as a "border" below my panel for a fun touch.

My second card is using the new Posted Note stamps and Confetti Cuts.  What a genius little die set this is!!!  So many uses for this!  Here I've used it without the top and base so it's just a cute tiny clipboard!

Posted Note

I stamped my sentiment and added a loopy bunch of gold thread and some gold stamped stars from You Are a Star.
