Reverse Confetti July New Release Blog Hop!

 

 

 

 Hello REVERSE CONFETTI Fans!  The wait is finally over, and it's time for another new release from your favorite new company!  That's right, it's our second release and it's even better than the first one.  Another 4 new stamp sets are being released TODAY!  We know you all are excited to see what's new, so start by hopping along with the Confetti Crew, along with some other special guests.

 

 

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Amber’s blog.  It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.  We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti’s second release of 4 brand new stamp sets!

 

I decided to go out of my comfort zone just a little for this one.........tilted and colorful!  I had fun putting this together and I hope that it's not "too much going on".  LOL  I love this paper from Simple Stories called I {HEART}SUMMER.  I had actually decided to use the reverse side of the striped paper (because well I tend to go for the more muted colors) as it had some summer text but I turned it over to apply adhesive and I thought, why not use this side?  An unexpected surprise! 

 

I have to say something about this red cardstock.......it's Electric Red from MFT.  OH MY GOODNESS!  I didn't realize I was looking for my favorite new red until this sweetness came in the mail!!!!  I am in LOVE!!!  :)

 

I used Arrows 'N Elements, Whole Lotta Dots, and the tiny heart stamp from I like you.

Welcome to Day 3 of the Reverse Confetti July Release sneak peeks!!!  Today we are sharing a set called Arrows 'N Elements.  Oh my, how I love love this set!  So many ideas brewing using this basic set!!! 

 

I went for a quick CAS 'teen card using NEON that is ever so popular right now!  My friend Jen Carter sent me these NEON sequins and I just had to use them here.

Countdown to Confetti: Celebrate Cake

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti July Release sneak peeks!!!  Today we are sharing a set called Celebrate Cake.......and ice cream.  Yumminess!  I've also paired this release up with another new set called Whole Lotta Dots background set!  A basic polka dot set that will be a great staple in your Reverse Confetti stash!

 



 My card uses the current SFYTT that you can play along with until noon CST July 14th.

The SKETCH FOR YOU TO TRY details you need to know....

•There will be a new sketch posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 1st of each month.

•The sketch link list will be open from the 1st until noon CST on the 14th. The sketch will be posted in the sidebar and you will be able to click on it to get to that month’s SFYTT post with the link list during this time.

•We originally stated that you must play with Reverse Confetti stamps to win; however, we are allowing “anything goes” until the end of the year. Note, that we will be adding this requirement in January.

•You may enter as many times as you wish.

•There will be a winner each month and that person will receive ALL OF THE STAMP SETS for the next release and be invited to share their creations during our sneak peeks and hop! The winner of SFYTT will be posted on the Reverse Confetti blog on the 15th of each month.

What can I say.......the 4th of July is over!  I do not make cards for this holiday; however, I can always use a good masculine card!  This one is perfect!

Hi everyone!  I had some extra time (where did that come from??) today to whip up a card with some Verve goodness.....I always love using my Verve.....

When the new sketch came up for Viva la Verve this week, I just couldn't stop thinking about what an awesome sketch it was to use pattern paper!  Lord knows, I have PLENTY.  So the next thing was to choose one paper pad.....hehe.....that was the hard part!  :) 

 

My sentiment (from Wordy Birds) was stamped on vellum and overlayed onto this pattern paper......I just couldn't cover up the pretty florals!! 

 

 

 

Here is sketch for the first week of July.  I layered my papers a bit differently but I used the basic sketch.........

12 Kits of Holidays {June Kit}

Welcome to the June Edition of the 12 Kits of Holidays!  This group has been together now for a year and a half!!  Every single month we get goodies from the hostess for the month. So many new things arrive..... makes it so fun!!!

 

 

 

This month's kit was sent to us from Jeanne from A Kept Life.  Jeanne sent papers, die cuts, buttons ribbon and other goodies!  Thank you so much for sending out such a beautiful holiday kit!!

I have been flying solo most of this week so I didn't have a lot of time in between 8 ball games in two different towns to get my post done (on time) for this morning.  I've made 2 cards with Jeanne's kit and I know I've only scratched the surface but what I'm excited for this month is to see what else the group has done that I can CASE!  I have made this a priority to do this so I can get my holiday card stash prepared!

Gallery Idol.......one of the best experiences and I am very proud of my entries this year.  I may not have won but I have gained so many new friends the past month and had tons of fun!  This is my chance to thank YOU for all the votes, messages, emails, etc. because I know it took time and I will be forever grateful for that.  From the bottom of my heart.....thank you so much!!  Congrats to Deasy for her awesome work in the final round!!!  Much deserved!!

 

I made this card using the sketch this week over at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used the set Peacock Pretties from Reverse Confetti. 

 

 

 

 

 

That's all for this post......I'm off to more ballgames today and tomorrow!  The weather has been pretty nice......warm.....but not humid.  I can handle that!
