So yesterday I shared a card using Wplus9 stamps.........I told 'ya I loved them.  I had more time to ink up some other Wplus9 stamps too!  Today's card is for the March Cloud 9 Blog Hop.  I went for a softer side and each image is stamped off once to achieve this muted look.

Viva la Verve! meets Timeless Twine

Happy Sunday everyone! 

It's been rainy rainy rainy here so we've been staying indoors!  I'm just hoping it does it all this weekend so that we can enjoy the start of Spring Break dry next weekend!

 

I have a sweet little BABY card (I know I just posted one but I need more of these in my stash!) to share.  I pulled out the ever adorable To the Moon set from Verve.  I chose to use the little giraffe image (because it worked with the sketch I used) and colored it with Copic markers.  I've layered Bubble Gum Pink and Graphite Gray twine for a sweet little "blankie"!  (although now it kinda looks like a rug! hehe)

 

I used the current Viva la Verve! Sketch Challenge for this week.......you can check it out HERE.  Now you may be thinking......and yes!  I did take liberties with it and you can kind of see the sketch in there right?  :)  Remember there is a $100 gift certificate up for grabs if you participate in all the VLV sketches this month!  Wahoo!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps New Release: Subway Series Basics

I have a niece graduating in a few months from college.  So this was the perfect chance to make a sophisticated card with a little bit of fun in it. 

 

I loved just this portion of the stamp so I did a little "masking" and it worked great!  Don't forget to try this as it really can make your stamps go further and in a whole different direction!

Today we are sharing a darling mini set called Just Thinking of You and it has the most beautiful scripty handwritten font for it's sentiment.  This is what I chose to focus on for my card today!  So here's me giving in to my Washi hoarding!  This is the Heart and Cloud Washi......layering it up and adding this gorgeous sentiment!
