I {heart} U

Hi everyone!
This is a previously scheduled post as we are on VACATION!  This one was a surprise.........for the kids!  As some of you know, my work has given me highs and lows over the past 8 months.....and well, let's face it....I soo needed this vacation!  Yes, we took the kids out of school but the summer gets too busy for us to travel due to our kids baseball and softball.  We love that time and certainly don't want to miss that!

So my post for today......a Timeless Twine project!
I've created a small tic-tac-toe grid using the Strawberry Truffle Timeless Twine.
Just look at this twine.....pink and brown.....YUMMY!!

I {heart} U

This is a perfect mailable card.......no buttons, no big embellishments.
Twine is the PERFECT way to add "pop" to a card without the bulk!

I have more pre-scheduled posts ready so my blog won't be bare while I'm gone!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!!

Cloud 9 February Blog Hop

Hello!!!  While you are reading this, my family and I are on our way to Disney World!  Some of you know that is was a big SECRET for our kids........I will report back on how we revealed our destination along with pics!

So ahead to the Cloud 9 Blog Hop for February!  I was so disappointed that I missed last month's blog hop that I was NOT going to miss this months!  It's no secret that I LOVE Wplus9 products especially their stamps, paper, dies, and well just everything!  I can't wait to try their newly released white ink too!  (it's in a box waiting for me when I get back)  Here is this month's inspiration photo:

.
I love the look of handmade Valentines.  The striped background and it's colors fit perfectly for what my daughter's Valentines were shaping up to be this year.  Here is our version using Bitty Buddy Valentines from Wplus9.

Bitty Valentines
I knew these had to be easy and quick since they would need to be done prior to vacation.  I love the frame stamp and the sentiment is from Bitty Buddy Valentines set too!  Instead of giving candy this year, Payton and I found these Valentine flair buttons on CLEARANCE at Michaels!  Score!

Bitty Valentines

I figured these would be easy enough for Miss Rooney to pass out to Payton's classmates!
I can't wait to see what others do with this inspiration photo!
Enjoy your weekend!

PTI Anniversary Digis/Contest

Hi everyone!  Anyone else participating in the PTI Anniversary festivities?  You can read all about them HERE.  I love this time of year.....inspiration, contests, and today free printables!

I've used Melissa Bickford's ADORABLE little flowers in the teacup image she contributed.  Seriously, how much cuter can it get?  I used the PTI scallop border die and added some Pure Poppy threaded buttons!  Kinda looks like the teacup is sitting on a shelf, eh?  :)

Thanks to my friend Jen who helped me with my not so savvy use of digis!

Fresh Squeezed Stamps Release {Weather Through}

Welcome!  I'm here sharing a card for the newest Fresh Squeezed Stamps release!  Today we're sharing a wonderful new set called Weather Through.  It's packed with all things related to weather!

I focused on the clouds and raindrops but I have soo many ideas for this stamp set!  I was super excited when I was assigned it!  I love that the cloud stamp has stitching on it but I wanted an entire cloud stamped........so, I turned my stamp over and stamped with the backside!  I've used this technique many times and it just gives more life to your stamps!

We'll weather it together

Hugs and Kisses

Hi everyone!  It's my day to share a card over on the Neat and Tangled blog.  I'm here with a sweet little Valentine to get your mojo going for creating!  I've got a great way to use those small sentiment stamps to make your own focal point.  Here I've used the 'xoxo' stamp from My Heart Sings.

xoxo

I started with a sheet of typing paper the same size as my card front.......die cutting a heart in the center.  This then serves as my mask to stamp the xoxo in the pattern above.

xoxo

The final step was to die cut my heart frame from 2 different heart dies.
Very simple card.....really!  :)

Have a great Monday everyone!!

January AEI♥U Challenge

Happy Monday (or late Sunday)!  I've had this idea on my desk for several days now and finally finished it up for the January AEI♥U Challenge!  Here is the inspiration photo:

I couldn't get this photo out of my head!  I think it was the all neutral background featuring shades of grey with a pop of rose color.  Here's my card using Framed Fonts and Lots of Love sets.  I looked at this photo and thought this sentiment was perfect......BIG and BOLD!  And don't you love those tiny arrow stamps?  I ♥♥♥ them!!!
