Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Hop!

Purrfect2

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh New Product Release Hop!
I am so honored to work with these products.......Paulina has done it again!  No doubt you've seen some inspiration out there with the new product since its debut last week but the DT is now here for a fabulous Blog Hop showcasing all the new goodies!

New release includes:  2 new die sets, 5 colors of iridescent sequins, and a new embellishment kit!!

I have 2 cards to share today using the new dies and some of the new sequins.  First up is this awesome new die called Stitched Banner Duo 2.  It comes attached but I left it intact because it makes the perfect die for making shaker cards!  I used the stitched circle and inset it inside the shaker.  For some added stitching detail, I used the long stitched border from Stitched Borders 2 and made my own stitched frame.  I embellished my shaker with the CUTEST kitty from Smart Kitty.

For my next card, I used the stitched straight panel from Stitched Borders 3 and did some colored stripes that pefectly match the gorgeous colors in the new Embellishment Kit!!

Hello

I wanted to really show off the stitching detail in this border!!!  I added in a large Hello Die from SSS and embellished with some twine from the Embellishment Kit.  A few mini sequins from Enchanted Garden were scattered around the "Hello".

***Ok.....now to the details of the PRIZES!!!  There are 2 $25 gift certificates up for grabs and winners will be randomly picked from along the blog hop.  Comments must be left by 11:59 PDT on 5/18/2015.  Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Wplus9 Comfort Zone Challenge!

I had a little time tonight to play along with some challenges out there that I could not pass up.
A comfort zone challenge was right up my alley!  Thanks to Wplus9 for this one as they are celebrating their 4th Birthday with a Comfort Zone Challenge!
Happy Birthday Wishes Wplus9!!!

I've done a little chalkboard look with some chalkboard paper from DCWV.  Using Wplus9 white ink, this technique was easy!!!  A few dots of white Enamel Accents to the flower centers and it was finished.  Easy Peasy.

Monday Mood Board #18

Now that school is back in the swing of things, I had a day to myself yesterday to do a little retail therapy at Michaels and Scrapbooks Etc (my local scrapbook store).  I also had time to play along with the latest Mood Board found HERE.

I went for a very clean and simple thank you using Super Stripes from PTI and the focal images from the newest stamp set called Dockside from Wplus9.  Using the coordinating dies, I die cut a boat and layered it onto my stamped rope circle.  The banner is from the set Basic Banners and die cut with the coordinating die.  I just may have mentioned before that I LOVE coordinating products and you can find these new Wplus9 products over at i {heart} papers!

Thank you

Have a wonderful Friday and guess what?  I get crafty time all to myself for part of the weekend!!!  Anyone want to chat?

{Thank you}

Festive Friday Challenge!

Hi everyone!  Happy Friday!!  I'm so excited to be here today sharing a card for the Festive Friday Challenge!  Thanks to the super sweet and super talented Meredith of A Delightful Waste of Time for inviting me to play along this week!!!

When I first took a look at the inspiration photo, I saw the obvious and then I kept thinking and thinking.  So ultimately I came back to my first thought of stockings hanging from a mantle.  I've used a fabulous new holiday die by Memory Box called Precious Stockings and die cut several stockings in fun colors.  I embellished with a tiny little button stamp from Wplus9 called Blanket Stitched Blooms.  The sentiment is from that stamp set as well (it is masked off).
You can get these products from i {heart} papers!!!

My background is an embossing folder that I've had for ages by Cuttlebug.  My friend, Wida from Beachorado, always ties the most beautiful flowing bows with twine.  This is my inner Wida at work here!  LOL  Thank you Wida!!  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

My bloom arrangement was layered onto another favorite Wplus9 set of mine:  A PocketfulMy pocket was die cut using the A Pocketful Dies.  The sentiment is from Strictly Sentiments 2.  I also used Jardin Moss ink for the "vein" of my leaves.  I wish you could see the glitter I've added with my Wink of Stella Brush......this thing is awesome!  It gives just a tiny bit of shimmer without all the mess!

So many new things arrive..... makes it so fun!!!  BUT WAIT.......we have added some new things to our group.......a new BLOG (The 12 Kits of Occasions) and Facebook page.  There are a few little details still to be worked out so be expecting next month to be a little more 'fine tuned' for things like a new badge (instead of the one below) and blog titles.  So please go join our following over on the blog and LIKE us on Facebook!

This month's kit was sent to us by Christina Maclaren from SeaGlass Papercrafts!  We've been rotating holidays every other month being Christmas but this month was all about Birthdays!  Christina sent so many new to me goodies that I had a blast creating with the kit she put together for us!

I had fun with some NEW to me goodies that may just have to find their way into my shopping cart somewhere......{wink}.

Card #1--this was the first one I made with Christina's kit.......and turned out to be my favorite!  I diecut my sentiment into a circle, added gold sequins, and foam tape for dimension!

Special

Card #2--uses some adorable little tags that were included in the kit.  I paired them up with some gold shimmer twine, and yes.....more sequins!

Card #3--uses stamps from one of my favorite companies.....Wplus9.  This set is called Sweet Treats and well......it's sweet because it has matching dies!  Woot!  I colored in a couple of the stamped diecut images with Copics and layered together.  I LOVE this glitter tape that was in the kit.....I used it as a glittery border for the sentiment panel!

That's it from me today but let's go check out what the rest of the group made with this kit!!! Make sure to stop by Christina's blog for a full supply list!!!

Stamping Royalty 2013 Blog Hop and prizes!

I'm so excited for this post to go live!  I still remember the day (April 19th), where I was (at work), and my reaction (no way!!) of when I got THE email.  Yes, THE email from Holly Anderson that I was a winner of Paper Crafts magazine’s 2013 Stamping Royalty Card Contest!  I won in the Birthday category and you will be able to see it in the Nov/Dec. issue of Paper Crafts magazine!!!
Let me say that since I was at work, I'm not to have my cell phone with me but that day, I had kept it in my pocket.  I was so glad that I had!  I was on cloud 9 the rest of the afternoon!!  Thank you so much Paper Crafts Magazine!!  I am so very honored to be "royalty"!!

That brings me to my post today.......I'm joining in the 2013 Stamping Royalty Blog Hop with all the other winners in all the categories!!!  You are in for a fabulous blog hop!  You should have arrived from the talented Pamela Ho's blog but if not here is the Stamping Royalty list:

Paper Crafts Connection

We decided for our blog hop to make a card in one of the 5 Stamping Royalty categories (Birthday, Christmas/Season's Greetings, Hello/Thinking of you, Love, and Thank You). My card today is a recreation of a similar card I sent in for the "Thinking of You" category for Stamping Royalty except here I jazzed up my original and changed the sentiment to "Thank You".  Can you guess what set I used?  My personal favorite set right now:  Fresh Cut Florals from Wplus9.

Thank you

Now for the prize I'm offering up!  Since I am very blessed to be on the Lil' Inker Designs DT, I thought I'd offer the Rainbows and Clouds Stamps and Dies!!!  Let me say that these clouds dies are my most used cloud dies EVER!!!  I love the stitching that sets them apart from so many others.
Thank you Laura for sponsoring Stamping Royalty this year!!!

Gallery Idol 2013--Round 3

Hi everyone!  I am very excited that I made the Top 15 in Paper Crafts Gallery Idol 2013 card contest!
It was an amazing round of fabulous DAD inspired cards.
You can see the Paper Crafts post HERE
If you'd like to vote for this round, you can vote using the link on my side bar!!!

This contest works just like American Idol and we rely on votes to make it to the next round.  Today starts Round 3.  The theme for Round 3 is Stamped Backgrounds.

I wanted to stamp a background that stood out and was bold.......so I went with a bright floral motif using the new set from Wplus9 called Fresh Cut Florals.  However when I was done, I didn't want to cover any part of that background, so I die cut a mini polaroid frame and layered my stamped vellum sentiment behind it!

You should have seen how many blocks and inks I had out on my desk to create this!!!  I had each stamp on a block to make this go faster.  I did sneak in the small trio of flowers (stamped in latte ink) from the PTI set Garden Variety.  To add some interest, I used a fine tip black pen and added in trios of dots throughout my stamped panel.  Here you can see it better:

And there's my version of a stamped background!  I hope I've shared enough to sway your vote!
You can vote......HERE.
