Taylored Expressions / Petal Prints Kit

Hello!

If you have seen the sneak peek for the newest Taylored Expressions Kit called Petal Prints.......are you in love?  

Let me say that it was so much fun to create with the kit and additional products!

The possibilities for this kit are endless especially if you decide on the add-ons!  This one uses the Petal Prints Patterns gold heat embossed, ink blended, and die cut.  Once assembled, the blooms were arranged inside a foam adhered frame from Frame in Frame Cutting Plate.  Sentiment is from Building Blocks - Be Bright.

My second card uses the Petal Prints stamp set onto a white card and ink blended with the coordinating stencils from the kit.  Once the panel was done, the same Frame in Frame Cutting Plate was used but as an IMPRESSION plate to impress the frame into the inked floral design.  Love using my dies like this!  Sentiment is from Building Blocks - Be Bright.

My last card uses one of the additional products you can purchase separately.......Foil-It Petal Prints.  I foiled it in gold foil with my Mini Minc and ink blended the blooms with the layered stencils from the kit.  This design was stepped up with some additional stenciling with clouds and ink blending some grass.  The layers were die cut using some basic stacklets from Taylored Expressions.

Taylored Expressions / Fall Release 2023

Welcome to the Fall Release of some iconic sets for the Fall from 

Taylored Expressions!

Being from Kansas where wheat and sunflowers are abundant this time of year, I was so excited to create with these products!

One of the top crops for Kansas is wheat so it's no surprise I love the new Garden Variety--Prairie.  All the Prairie die cuts (except for the cattails) were cut with white cardstock and ink blended with various TE ink colors!  I like to see how the colors blend together and fall colors are the best!

Once the images were ink blended and arranged, they were added to a notecard with a frame from Frame in Frame 2.  Hard to see, but the background was done using the Pierced Lattice Cutting Plate.  Once everything was adhered, gold ink splatters were added.  The sentiment, from Hello Lovely, was gold heat embossed and added with foam adhesive.

The second best thing about this time of the summer is the state flower is in bloom.......the Sunflower.  I couldn't let the release go by without using the new Layer It--Sunflower.

I kept this pretty basic by using a Mini Slim size for this new sentiment--Bless You Ever More which was gold heat embossed.  For the rest of the card, one sunflower was die cut and assembled.  This sunflower was cut in half and added to the top and bottom of the sentiment panel.  To break up the white card, a piece of Sweet Basil cardstock was added behind the Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets.

Avery Elle / Creepy Cameos

Hello!

I'm here wishing you some "Wicked Wishes" for this Halloween!

It's not too early to be making those Halloween cards.

Fun new supplies from Avery Elle!

The new Creepy Cameos are fun icons of this spooky season.  I started by creating the background using white pigment ink blended over the new Gothic Stencil onto black cardstock.  This panel was die cut using the Pierced Rounded Frames Elle-ments.  The frame, witch, and bats from Creepy Cameos were stamped in black ink onto white cardstock.  Left over ink from my green blender brush was added over the top of the frame, witch, and bats.  A sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and added with foam adhesive.  Once the card was assembled, it was spritzed with Shimmer Spray.....the perfect grunge look!

Taylored Expressions / Halloween Release

Hello!!  

Welcome to the Halloween Release from Taylored Expressions!  

I am so honored to be joining this release as part of the CREATIVE TEAM!  

I have always had a love for TE so this is going to be such an amazing time!!

This week we are showcasing some fun new "spooky" products for this Halloween.  

Remember the Gnome Sweet Gnome die set that was previously released?  There are some new dies available to make the gnomes spooky!  

I started with my background using the Brick Embossing Folder on Toffee cardstock and adding in distressed areas with black ink and my Blending Brushes for a grunge look.  The Wispy Grass Border was die cut from Lime Zest cardstock.  Once all the die cutting was done, areas were either distressed with a blending brush or Copic markers for detail.  Once my witch gnome was assembled, it was added with foam adhesive to the background.

Avery Elle / Have a Ball

Hello!

I'm here "Havin' a Ball"!!

The newest addition to the Avery Elle lineup with this release is Have a Ball.  Gumball machines are very nostalgic to me, bringing me back to my childhood!  Whenever we were out to eat dinner, my dad would give my brother and I a quarter to go spend at the machines......I always came back with a gumball in my mouth!

I reverted to an old technique......Paper Piecing.  I stamped the gumball machine onto grey and red cardstock and trimmed out.  These pieces were adhered to another gumball machine stamped in white.  The coordinating die set has a die to cut the inside of the gumball machine out!  Make this a shaker or not.....I chose to use that area to pop my gumballs up with foam adhesive.  My gumball machine was adhered to a panel of pattern paper from the Spring Collection Paper Pad along with a 1/4" black cardstock strip.  Lastly, I added a hand cut tag stamped "You are so sweet!" with some Bakers Twine.

Avery Elle / Script Layered Sentiments

Hello!

I'm here spreading some Peace, Love, & Joy with Avery Elle!

There's a new script sentiment set that is amazing called Script Layered Sentiments!  I love the size and there are dies that cut each one out with a larger border!  I've paired it with the adorable bear from Beary & Bright.  I added a coordinating sentiment strip white heat embossed onto a black strip of cardstock.  I created my own wintery scene using the new Random Dots Stencil on both the main card base and a layer that was die cut using the Pierced Rounded Frames Elle-ments.  A die cut bow, from Pierced Rounded Frames Elle-ments, was added to finish the card.

Avery Elle / Fall 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello!

I am so excited because the Avery Elle Fall 2023 Release is finally here!!  We have an amazing blog hop full of inspiration today and we are so glad that you are here.  There are some products like Washi Tape and Stencils!

I am sharing a card made with an adorable new elf set called Nice List.  I didn't want to color the elf in traditional colors so I colored them in with some blue/green Copics and die cut.  Using one of the new stencils called Diagonal Stripes Stencil, coordinating ink was ink blended with a brush over the top but leaving the center lighter.  I wanted a spot for the elf to stand with the little snow globe!  Inking the background stencil this way, allowed a space for the sentiment to be stamped direct to paper!  Snowflakes were stamped in a darker coordinating ink across the panel.  After adding the elf and snow globe with foam adhesive, this panel was added to a notecard with foam adhesive as well.
