Taylored Expressions / Shades of Spring

Welcome to the Shades of Spring new color release from Taylored Expressions!
We welcome 4 new colors...Bleu Cheese, Oat Milk, Brussels Sprout, and Green Tea.

I have 2 projects to share with you with one focusing on cardstock and one on the new ink!

I've used the newer die set called Garden Variety 2 to die cut shades of the new colors and arranged to create a wreath.  I've added gold accents by using the Gold Bits and Pieces.  Everything was tied together by adding in a gold heat embossed sentiment from Mini Strips Sending.

My second project uses the Create-In-Quads Poster Prints Layering Stencil with the new colors of ink.  I didn't realize how I much I was missing some green colors in my Taylored Expressions color lineup!  I adore these new green shades! 

Each card was embellished with dies and bits and pieces from Taylored Expressions.  Each card features a gold foiled sentiment from Hello Lovely.

Avery Elle / Brilliant Birthday

Hello!

I am here to celebrate birthdays with the Brilliant Birthday set!  It features a main sentiment but has the most amazing supporting scripty words to personalize your card or tag!

For my card, I made my husband's birthday card for this year (early!).  I used Balloon Wishes to stamp the balloons onto colored cardstock and then die cut using the coordinating Balloon Wishes Elle-ments.  I added some white pigment ink splatter to the balloons.  For the base of the card, the main sentiment was stamped and then personalized with 'husband'.  A die cut frame, from Scalloped Burst Elle-ments, done in kraft cardstock was added with foam adhesive.  The balloons were added with foam adhesive atop the tiny balloon strings (I'm sure it's supposed to be streamers ha!).  As a last touch, the solid stars were stamped in blue ink.  I love how simple this turned out.....my guy doesn't like bling or glitter so this is perfect!  🤣🤣

Taylored Expressions / For Her Release / FUN PROMO!!

There is a FANTASTIC new release today from Taylored Expressions!

The 'For Her' Release contains some floral, vintage, and kitschy products that are sure to evoke some nostalgia!

There is a new die available called Garden Variety 2 with a new Rustic Watering Can.  I've die cut many flowers and stems from cardstock and ink blended with a darker shade to give the blooms depth.  The blooms were added to a Stitched Rectangle panel layered over a NEW fabulous background called Checking In.  Here, I've used Snow Cone ink over Gumball cardstock for a classic blue gingham!

Next up is a FAVORITE of mine and now available for purchase as it was first available as a Black Friday deal.....In The Kitchen.  I love vintage and these dishes so it was so fun to design my own with ink!

My ink color palette includes Pink Champagne, Sweet Potato Pie, Honey, Sprinkles, and Sweet Basil.  I've added details like white enamel dots and clear heat embossing of the new background called Up Against A Wall which is a split background with so many possibilities!

What is so fun that has been added since their debut at Black Friday is coordinating dies for the images from the Triple Slim In The Kitchen stencils.  Each card features sentiments from a coordinating new sentiment set called What's Cookin'.

Taylored Expressions / Foil It & Fun Foil Release

It's time for a fabulous FOIL release from Taylored Expressions!
There are a TON of new colors of foil and new Foil now available!

Ahhhhh......give me all the polka dots especially done in GOLD FOIL!!!  This card is just amazing in person with all it's foiling......the new background (Mini Slim Essential Patterns), the sentiment, and Daisy Dreams.

Next, I created a card set using the new Swirls and Twirls Foil It Panels.  Each one was foiled with the new foils......Cookie Monster, Jelly Donut, and Dragon Fruit.  Each panel was foiled, then ink blended at the bottom fading to the top, and then added to a coordinating panel of colored cardstock.  

The sentiments are the new Modern Sentiment Labels Foil It Panels and each was foiled using the same color as the background and then layered with the new Modern Sentiment Labels Backer Dies.

Taylored Expressions / Scattered Blooms Cardmaking Kit

Hello Spring!

It's time for a fabulous new cardmaking kit from Taylored Expressions called Scattered Blooms!

This kit contains a plate that cuts out loads of gorgeous blooms but they can also be colored in using the coordinating stencils!!!  

My first card uses the stencils with the all in one die plate.  My color combination is a favorite.....Confetti Cake, Poblano Pepper, Guava, Pineapple, and Sweet Potato Pie.  The best thing is that this plate cuts all the little veins and detail areas of the leaves and flowers!!  LOVE!

Each of these blooms was added with foam adhesive on the back for lots of dimension!  The sentiment was done using the new Hugs Die included but the backer is an additional die that also can be purchased!

My second card uses the printed floral pattern that is included but it was FOILED.  So all the details on the flowers are foiled and then the flowers themselves are are stenciled!  The possibilities are endless when it comes to designing with this kit!!

Avery Elle / Balloon Wishes

Hello!
I'm here sharing some fun using Balloon Wishes from Avery Elle!

I started by creating black and white horizontal stripes to the left side using 1/4" black strips of cardstock.  Use those scraps!  My card base is a bit smaller than the usual A2 card size due to the stripes.  

The balloon panel was done by die cutting the balloons and ink blended them with ink that was just a bit darker than the cardstock using the Polka Dots Stencil.  The balloon strings were stamped in black ink and little tassels were added.  Over this panel, gold watercolor was splattered.  This panel was added to the striped notecard with foam adhesive.  A few gold rhinestones were added to tie in with the splatter.  Finished this with stamped black stars and the layered 'congrats' sentiment.

I've paired the Rainbow Bright die across my card and filled the bottom with the Build a Scene: Rolling Clouds.  I popped a rainbow unicorn from Little Critters in the clouds for some whimsy!

I created yet another rainbow using some 1/4" stripes of cardstock scraps!  I added in the die cut sun out of the Glitter Paper and added some die cut clouds!

Avery Elle / One In A Melon

Hello!

Amy here sharing a SWEET card with you using One In A Melon.

I created my background using the Midnight Stripes Washi Tape to create some faux paper.  I added a 1/4" black strip across the top of the Washi Tape for a place to ground my images.  The images were all Copic colored and die cut using the coordinating One In A Melon Elle-ments.  I created my sentiment using the Everyday Alphas Elle-ments in coordinating "sweet watermelon" colors.  As a last detail, I added the tiny little ants!!!

Avery Elle / Easter Egg

Hello!

Easter is just around the corner and so is the Easter Bunny!

Avery Elle has this adorable mini set called Easter Egg featuring this bunny peeking out from the egg.  I've colored the image with Copic markers and die cut using the coordinating Easter Egg Elle-ments.  The background was done using two different stencils.....the Polka Dots and Scalloped Stripes.  A white frame from Scalloped Burst Elle-ments was die cut and added with foam adhesive.

Hello!  
Let's get ready for some new CALENDARS!  You will have plenty of time to create for 2025 with the new calendar products!  Check out the list and the new bundle now available from Taylored Expressions!

I've used the traditional In the Word 3 Calendar Cards for my desk calendar.  I loosely Copic colored the floral images on the cards.  The card was mounted to a table tented card that was embellished with a stamped panel that was die cut using the Stitched Rectangles.

Next up--I have a set of 3 X 3 toffee notecards featuring the Arch Nouveau stamp set designed for a new shape of calendar that is now available from Taylored Expressions.

Each notecard was white heat embossed and die cut using the coordinating Arch Nouveau dies.  The sentiment is from a new set called Sundry Sentiments.
