Welcome! I'm so honored to be sharing some projects with you from the new Best Days release from Simon Says Stamp! Check out the amazing line up for today's hop below! If you want to shop, check out the whole release HERE.
Alcohol inks are all the rage and I had the opportunity to play around with the newest colors last weekend at my craft retreat. I created my background paper using alcohol ink on Yupo paper. I love using alcohol inks in a striped pattern! (Sorry, I didn't write the colors I used)
So that my alcohol ink panel would really stand out, I used the new Blooming Wave Die and die cut many times out of paper that was adhesive backed. I simply adhered the pieces with my Tonic Craft Pick. For my sentiment, I reached for an older but favorite die, the Painted Hello Die. I die cut it several times out of white and once more out of Lavender Cardstock and glued them together. To finish, my tiny sentiment strip is from the older Happy & Smile stamp set.

For my second card, I used the Oh Baby stamp set and coordinating Oh Baby Dies. I began with a piece of Fog Cardstock and using a cloud stencil, I sprayed the cloud background using Silver Glitter Dust. I stamped, Copic colored, and die cut my images. I added my sentiment in black ink and my images with foam adhesive. A simple twine bow finishes this off.

love all those tiny flowers
Fabulous cards! I love what you did with the blooming wave die on the first card and I love the clouds on the second card. That silver glitter dust makes beautiful clouds.
Gorgeous cards, I especially love your pretty floral BG!
The baby stamp is adorable and you showcased it well! Sweet card, Amy. Loved both of your cards. Thank you.
Such beautiful cards! Love the first card especially with the blooming waves die.
Beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Amy,
Thank you for reminding me that I can use a die more than once on a card. I am inspired to pull out my dies and see what I can come up with. I also love the baby card, the subtle clouds in the background are just beautiful.
Take care
Tracy
Such lovely cards--each so different but both so well crafted. Isn't this new release great? tfs
Very adorable cards.
Love how you used the texture paste with the floral stencil!
Awesome cards! Love the soft clouds on the gray background....it really elevates a cute card!
Beautiful cards. I really love the way you've used that Blooming Wave die. So pretty.
Super sweet projects. Love the colors combination of your first project. Thanks for sharing
Your cards are beautiful as always love both backgrounds. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice cards! I do like the idea of lots of baby cards with the stork! If baby deliveries were that easy :)..
I tend to use very bright or dark colors when I create. However, your use of the pastel colors inspires me to do that when creating future cards...very springy!
Loving all the layers of die cuts!! So pretty with the colors you chose as well!
Wonderful cards, they are adorable!!!
Beautiful cards thank you for sharing

Very pretty floral card and love the baby card.
You really outdid yourself on those two cards!
While both cards are sweet, I definitely prefer the 'hello' card just because cute is not my thing. Great use of the alcohol inks.
