Catherine Pooler Designs / Counting Blessings Stamp of Approval Hop

Thankful

Welcome to Day 1 of the Stamp of Approval Counting Blessings Blog Hop!  I am thrilled to get to create with one of Catherine's boxes again.  This collection is just fabulous and perfect for the fall!

If this is your first time hearing about Stamp of Approval, this is an exclusive collection designed especially for this particular box. The stamps and dies in the Stamp of Approval Collections are brand new on the market and won’t be released for individual sale for several months. Want a chance to win one of these boxes?  Be sure to comment on every participating post on all three days of the blog hop!

For my first card, I used some of the gorgeous inks from Catherine Pooler.  These inks are the bomb.......They are a premium dye ink with loads of color and perfect coverage with the first stamp!

I started my card by stamping a panel of white cardstock with the large oak leaf from Leaf Motifs in Rockin' Red, Tutti Fruiti, Tiki Torch, Something Borrowed, and Icing on the Cake.  This panel was trimmed and matted with a dark brown cardstock.  My sentiment uses the Thankful Word Die and small words from Autumn Blessings layered over a wide strip of vellum.

Thankful2

*********************************

My second card uses the new Bloomin' Bouquet that's in the new SOA Counting Blessings.  Such a gorgeous floral set!

Bloomin' Bouquet

I've stamped my blooms in fallish colors using Pixie Dust, Flirty Fuchsia, Orange Twist, Tutti Fruitti, and Tiki Torch for all the blooms.  For the leaves, I used both Grass Skirt and Lime Rickey inks all from Catherine Pooler.

Bloomin' Bouquet2

My florals were layered onto a tag from a new die set in the SOA collection.  The tag was sponged with Tiki Torch ink using the new GeoTrio Stencil.  My tag was layered using foam adhesive onto a white notecard that was scored vertical every 1/4".  To finish, several sparkling clear confetti were added!

Bloomin' Bouquet3

Prizes:

One winner will be chosen at random from each day's comments and announced on AUGUST 17th on Catherine’s blog. The winners will win their box and if they already bought it, they will be issued a Gift Certificate worth $100 towards a future purchase.

Amy Kolling--->me!

Be sure to get on the Wait List for a first chance to purchase this amazing collection as these collections sell out quickly!  Not only do you get a box FULL of amazing stamps and dies, but you’ll get a downloadable PDF Project Guide with tons of projects and tutorials!  Don't forget release day is August 16, 6pm EST!!

I love this box! I feel very fortunate that I am able to budget in purchasing the SOA every quarter. I typically do not comment on the blog hop, because I hope the winner is someone who may not have that financial luxury; however, this morning was a bit crazy and when I went to purchase, it was SOLD OUT! The blog hop is my last chance at owning one of these boxes...fingers crossed...I've owned every one from the beginning.
