Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April "surprise" Release!  If you are just joining in on the fun, there AMAZING things happening this month.....5 new stamp sets, 8 Confetti Cuts, and new Quick Card Panels this month!  Wahoo!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and more projects!

This month's release has fun new goodies!  Today the DT is sharing projects using Shine From Within and Color Me Happy.

For my first card, I was totally inspired by pattern paper from the MME Jubilee collection.  If you have this 6x6 paper pad, then you will know what I'm talking about.  I went for bold colors to show off the sentiment from Shine From Within which was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

Shine from Within

After diecutting the new Geometric Panel several times, I had fun piecing this together leaving some areas white.  Once done, I stamped my sentiment several times (using my trusty MISTI tool) in Versafine Onyx Black ink for that bold look.  A few spring sequins (Pretty Pink Posh) were added for detail.

Next up is another card using the new QCP's called Pina Colada.  I love the look of the bold black chevron print so I went with heat embossing my sentiment, from Color Me Happy, in Aqua Zing embossing powder.

Color Me Happy

I matted my QCP with black cardstock, added foam adhesive for dimension, and a few black enamel dots.
