April Verve Diva Inspiration Hop!


Diva Inspiration Hop 2

It's the 5th of the month and time for the Verve Divas to bring you our monthly Diva Inspirations Challenge and Blog Hop! Our April challenge is Bunnies & Babies

Spring is a time of birth and renewal - celebrate the season by creating a card for Easter or a bouncing new baby. Use the inspiration graphic as a starting point, or head off in your own direction - just show us your sprightly spring creations!

I went with a very springy color scheme and used my favorite (at the moment) 6x6 paper....... Hello Sunshine by Doodlebug Design.  This sweet chick from Chicks Rule is just adorable and it gave me a chance to break out my Copics again!  I paper pieced parts of the basket and the chick.  The chick is tucked into the basket and popped up with foam adhesive just behind her head.  The sentiment was stamped onto a diecut banner from the Flag It Die Set.  A few matching glitter enamel dots were added from my stash as a final touch.
