This week over at Mojo Monday, there is a fabulous sketch and it's Verve contest week over there too!  My card today uses the Mojo Sketch along with some fabulous dies:  Tagged Rectangle and Wavy Hearts.  My sentiment comes from a newer set called Surely Goodness.  To keep with the "groovy" theme, I stamped some small chevrons from Borderline onto my wavy heart and added one single silver sequin.

I have to admit being a novice with a sewing machine but I wanted to try letting my end stitches hang free and not tuck them in.  I think it works for this card but I definitely see that doing this wouldn't work all the time!!!

  6. Where to start...I love your card, it is beautifully eye appealing. What a fun design sketch and you captured it perfectly and all while keeping your card a clean and simple feel, but at the same time so many fun elements. Love the dotted patterned paper and the stitching WITH THE THREADS ATTACHED, who would have thought of that! The tag is darling with the heart and that sweet sentiment and that gorgeous white bow. Can you tell I am liking this???????
