The 12 Kits of Holidays {February Kit}

Well, it certainly has looked like Christmas around here lately!  Snow, snow and more snow!!!  We've had several snow days and now we are having to make up one day so far!  But we've have fun in the snow....sledding, making snow angels, building snowmen, and yes shoveling snow!!!
So let's get ready for the show...........it's the 12 Kits of Holidays time!!!

This month's kit was sent by none other than Renee Lynch of It's a Patchwork Life!  And she went for a Country Christmas theme.......Love it!  Thank you Renee for such a thoughtful kit!

**Disclaimer:  I actually made SIX cards (yeah, I know this is a lot for me for the 12 kits :) ) but I liked 4 of them so much that I've sent them on to the current Holiday Paper Crafts call!  So fingers, toes, etc. crossed that at least one makes it in!  I know you girls will understand and I will definitely share what doesn't make it.....and hey it may be none of it but I won't know unless I try, right?**

So my first card that I made with Renee's kit was this simple modern card.  I LOVE this tree die by Memory Box.  I think this tree is stunning with all it's little "pieces" left in place.

Joy

 My next card uses this fabulous wired red burlap ribbon.  I couldn't let it go unused so I layered it under my sentiment.  Easy Peasy!!  And who doesn't like this cute little sentiment??  :)

Peace be with you

 That's it from me today but let's go check out what the rest of the group made with the Country Christmas kit!!!  Make sure to stop by Renee's blog for full supply list!!!

  2. Oh Amy - I think that tree is brilliant - wish I hadn't punched out all those bitty pieces- I think you totally rocked that one with the tree! You still get all the elaborate detail and the letters like a swag are so fun!

  8. Love your cards Amy, I think keeping the tree intact was brilliant and love the way JOY looks like presents under the tree. Wasn't that burlap ribbon the best? I love how you used the SB dies for the sentiment. I can't wait to see what you do with my kit either. :)

  9. Amy, both of your cards are fabulous and how you used that tree is so clever. I can't wait to see the other 4 cards, I am sure they are just as incredible as your first two.

  11. Oooh, best of luck with the PC call! If your submissions are half as inspiring as your other 12 Kits cards, you're sure to get some happy mail. :)
    I especially love the red on red in your first card, and that twine tree topper is so cute! Such a great, simple design on the second card. Definitely CASEable!
