Hero Arts / My Monthly Hero August Blog Hop / Giveaway

Coffee

Hello and Welcome!  I am so excited to be a part of the My Monthly Hero Blog Hop this month!  Hero Arts has always been a favorite company of mine since I began stamping so to create again with one of the My Monthly Hero Kits was so much fun!

This month's kit has some fabulous COFFEE themed sets and dies!  The kit is available for a limited time only - once it's gone, it's gone. Kits begin shipping from Hero Arts on Friday, August 10. You can now subscribe to receive the kit monthly and never miss one!  The kit value is over $70......but only costs $34.99.  Once this kit is gone, it's gone!

Get your kit HERE!!

I've used mainly the core kit along with one of the add-ons for my cards today.  My first card uses this awesome silhouette die cut image of a cafe.  I die cut it out of white cardstock and layered it over a panel of blended Cracked Pistachio, Scattered Straw, and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks.  After stamping a simple black sentiment, I added a very thin black frame to finish this off.

My second card uses the add-on, Distressed Tile Bold Prints.  I've clear heat embossed the background onto a kraft cardstock.  Using a standard circle die, I die cut the bottom right corner out of the cardstock.  This panel was added to a white notecard with foam adhesive over a background of splattered Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.  I added 2 to go coffee cups and hand trimmed my own cozies.  These were added with foam adhesive to the cutout portion and stamped my sentiment.
