I have to confess a little about this card today. I watched an incredible video by my friend Nichol Spohr where she embossed a similar image onto dark cardstock and then used Metallic Watercolors to fill in the areas. You can see here post HERE.
I went with this same technique but used inexpensive Metallic Pastel Watercolors from Michaels to color in my Modern Mandala stamps. I first white heat embossed them and this makes it so easy to keep your colors separate in your image! Once my images were all colored (with a waterbrush), I flicked some of the wet watercolor onto the panel for some added shimmer! To keep this simple, I added a white glitter Ever Die cut over a strip of vellum and added a sentiment banner with a sentiment from the Ever Stamps. Here's a closeup of the detail with some of the black cardstock still showing through!
