The theme of the celebration is SHAKER cards! Shakers are so fun to make and receive......any age loves an interactive card! I personally love to say, "shake, shake, shake" when I make one!
I started with making my shaker card using the Dotted Shaker Tag. I added in a sequin mix called Crystal Rainbow Fusion for my shaker element. Next I went to work white heat embossing images from Together We Bloom onto Bristol Smooth Watercolor paper.
The images were then colored with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. The colors just blend beautiful on this paper......no water needed! For my sentiment, I added a black glitter die cut "thank you". ♥♥

My second card uses Copics to add color to white heat embossed images. I used RV14, RV25, and RV19 to color in the flower, from Thank You so Much, on the back portion of the vellum image. I love the results!! My vellum was layered behind a light blue panel that had the opening of the flower die cut in the center. Another black glitter "thank you" was added to the front and some Crystal Clear Fusion sequins were scattered.

ReplyDeleteWow, Amy, these are so beautiful! I especially love the first one - the pop of colours against the white is stunning! And I love how the shaker part is a tag - I've never tried it myself before, will need to give it a go!

ReplyDeleteEveryone on this hop made a shaker card, at least as far as I've gotten with you. Was that a requirement or did everyone just want to make shaker cards? I love shaker cards so I'm not complaining I'm just wondering. Usually everyone on a hop doesn't make the same thing. Your shaker card is so beautiful! Yellow is my favorite color and that yellow orange flower makes me smile THIS BIG! LOL I love all the colorist that card as they go so well together. Your second card is also a pretty color but I like the other one better. I love that stamp and when I win, I think that is the one I want to get. Happy anniversary Studio Katia and many, many more. The colours of the first card look amazing, one of my favourite colour combos especially when using zigs, Your second card is so gorgeous I love the soft blue background and the flower is coloured so beautifully. I also really like the delicate 'thank you', it is such gorgeous script!
