Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release: Day 3

Amy - Balloon4

Welcome to the ... Clearly Whimsy Stamps January release BLOG HOP!

The CWS design team have been sharing some amazing creations made with these new stamps and dies over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP! The hop starts today (Saturday January 17th at 8.00AM ET) and ends on Wednesday January 21st at midnight EDT. If you would like to hop along with us today, please CLICK HERE to start the hop.

I've used the Up, Up, and Away stamp set and sentiments from Whimy Stamps.  I started by lightly Distress Inking the edges of the white layered piece with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.  I was going for subtle....hope I achieved that!  LOL  I stamped and trimmed my hot air balloon by hand and layered behind some diecut clouds (that are just amazing BTW).  The sentiment was stamped in the left corner with Amuse Slate ink.....my favorite gray ink!!!  Lastly, some embellishing was done with white sequins.  I kinda LOVE this card!!
