12 Kits of Christmas {February Kit}

Happy Wednesday, Leap Day to you!  Today I bring you February's kit of the month and was sent to us by Cathy from Empty Nest Crafter.  I am really enjoying these kits because you get goodies from other companies that you may want to try out and end up loving!  Sort of another way of enabling I say!  hehe

Card #1:  I love shaped cards so I was super excited to see this Snow Globe from My Time Made Easy included in our kit!  I thought the embossed snowflakes were just gorgeous by themselves so I just added some Prisma Glitter over the raised areas.  Even that little snowflake button was included in our kit!

Card #2:  I have been eyeing a certain little polar bear stamp and matching die from Memory Box so I was tickled to see it in my kit too!  Cathy even sent the matching pattern paper so I decided to pair them up!

Beary Warm Wishes

Thanks so much for joining us this month!  Thank you Cathy for a fabulous kit to work with!  More cards to share next month where we have a new hostess and the goodies have arrived and they are adorable!  Until next month, go check out what these very talented ladies have done with Cathy's kit!

  1. Oh Amy, what have you done! I love the simplicity of the first card with all that prisma glitter on the embossed snowflakes. Such a great idea. My favorite though is that second card, in fact I didn't use my piece of that paper and plan to case this card...exactly. You did a really good job with my kit, I loved it.

  3. Wow, Amy, the first card is so elegant! I just love the glitter on the snowflakes, and how you wrapped the white twine around so many times. And the second one is so cute! I love the pinked circle, the half circle sentiment, and the rhinestone in the bear's scarf :)

  7. Amy - Seriously genious drawing out the embossing with the glitter - you are so right - it really is beautiful on it's own! And your sweet polar bear card (that printed paper I had the hardest time with and didn't use) - you really showcased it here - and that red really brings your eye to the focal point - the little guy with the crystal on his scarf. Great little detail! Love your style!! Gorgeous!

  10. I would never have thought to do the snow globe like that. It is STUNNING! The glitter on the embossing makes such a pretty globe! And I love how you used the polar bear with that patterned paper! Love the little stone on the scarf--perfect accent!

  14. Oh, Amy...I've been away too long!! So many wonderful things to see, as usual!! If you haven't already found it, the Spellbinder was called Picot Edge circles (I think!!;) So very good to hear from you, and sorry it took me so long to get over here!!

  15. Two super cards. I love them both. That first one is such a stunner--really proves the point that less is more. And, I love the polar bear inside the pinked circle on the second card. Again, simple but really highlights that bear and my favorite of the patterned papers Cathy sent. Sorry for the delay in my comments.
