Pinkfresh Studio / “Fables & Forests” Release Blog Hop


Welcome!
It's time for a fun and fabulous "Fables & Forests" Release from
Pinkfresh Studio!!

There is some amazing collections in this release.  From book lovers to plant lovers.  Make sure to check out the whole release because it is SOO good!


My card features the Twilight Tales collection.  I've gold heat embossed the main book "frame" and then ink blended the various layers of the coordinating stencil to add color.

The frame was layered over a Stitched Blanket Weave background. The sentiment from Twilight Tales was also gold heat embossed to match the embossing on the frame outline. A few scattered Champagne Glitter Drops finish off the card.

    Awe - the color choices and saturation level give this card a nice retro/ childhood feeling. Love it! And as others have said, the gold embossing works so well here to complete that warmth of color and sentiment.

    Loving the Twilight Tales Books Frame--it's just so unique and clever! We love reading to our 2 sweet little granddaughters, and the older one is also an avid reader. Penny would adore this Collection--as do I! Great card!

    Like that you heat embossed the frame gold because it did make everything look so elegant and stand out. I also like the choice of stitched blanket weave as background because it made me think of grabbing a blanket and getting comfortable to read a book. Nice card!
