Reverse Confetti / LOVE

I am up on the Reverse Confetti blog sharing a card that is perfect for the season of LOVE or really any time!

I've used the new Outlined Frame Cover Panel done in Midnight cardstock.  I took this a step further and die cut a standard rectangle from the center.  Once the frame was adhered to a notecard, the center was ink blended with Broken China Distress Ink.

Love is in the Air has several adorable critters.  The puppy was Copic colored in neutral hues of grey.  The image was adhered above a Salsa die cut Big Love Confetti Cuts.  To finish, a few die cut clouds (from Cloudy Day Cover Panel) and flat sequins were added.

I am over on the SugarPea Designs blog sharing inspiration using one of the newest stand alone dies......Vintage Telephone.

Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to put a "love" spin on this!

I wanted to create a red and pink telephone. The Vintage Telephone SugarCut is so fun because you can design it any way you want! After creating the telephone, I set to work on the background. I used the new Chevron CoverPlate and die cut it twice. I only wanted to use the white "chevrons". I adhered them onto a piece of white cardstock in a plaid pattern and trimmed it down. This panel was layered over a pink panel to make the pattern stand out.

For the sentiment, I used the "Love" die from the Envelope Liner SugarCut and paired it with a supporting sentiment from Sentiments of Love. Once the card was assembled, a shimmer pen was used to give some elements shine.

I decided to use the Call Me stamps paired with the new Hello SugarCut.  The HELLO was die cut and layered onto a white strip of cardstock across a panel impressed using the Floral Geo Cover Plate.  The small telephone from Call Me was stamped in hot pink ink, die cut, and added with foam adhesive.

Don't these lazy days of winter just make you want to stay in bed? I wish I could! I am sharing a card using Let's Stay In Bed.

It was so fun to create my own bedding and room!  My "wallpaper" was created using the Floral Geo Cover Plate as an impression plate.  The "flooring" is a grey cardstock.  All the images were Copic colored and to the bedding, the tiny flower stamp from Call Me was stamped in a darker ink and accented with a white pigment pen for the flower centers.  Other images were added to complete the scene.

Ink to Paper / January Release Day

There is so much to love about this new cake set!  There are sentiments and this amazing layered cake image!  Additonally, there are a new set of number dies.

I created a sparkly pink cake using two shades of pink ink.  Florals from the set were added with foam adhesive along with the greenery.  The cake was added to a Border Bling: Believe......this die is useful year round!  Notice the background was lightly ink blended with pink ink.  Two picks were added as fun cake toppers along with the finest white glitter.

Don't forget to set your clock for the release tonight!!

Today there is a beautiful new floral set called Friendship Blooms.

I started with creating a background for my floral spray using the new Gradient Stripes Stencil using grey ink.  My blooms were all black heat embossed onto watercolor paper and colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush.  Once the florals were arranged and added with foam adhesive, the sentiment was stamped in black ink.  Wish you could see the shimmer that was added to the blooms using a shimmer pen!

Avery Elle / A Cake for All Seasons

Hello!  I am here with a fun colorful sugary treat (on a card) for a special little girl I know using A Cake for all Seasons.

I started with a white panel die cut using the Double Pierced Rectangle Elle-ments.  Using Magenta Pigment Ink from Avery Elle, some of the smaller images from the set were stamped around the edges.  By stamping these images in a coordinating color (as the background paper), the main image really stands out.

The birthday cake images were Copic colored and die cut.  The sentiment was stamped on the bottom of the cake for perfect placement.  All of the images were adhered to my panel of stamped images with foam adhesive.  Once done, a shimmer pen was used to embellish parts of the cake.

Today we are featuring the Call Me with coordinating dies and a stand alone Vintage Telephone die that is amazing!

The Vintage Telephone was die cut using several shades of grey cardstock.  The assembled telephone was layered with foam adhesive and added to a Stitched Scallop Rectangle (new dies this month).  The sentiment, from Call Me, fit perfectly in the smallest rectangle from this new set.  The whole panel was added to a pink Buffalo Check background.
