Peace, Love & Joy
I love a die cut that can be the focal point of the card.........Wreath of Joy. I used several monochromatic colors of cardstock from my stash to piece this together. Once it was all done, the JOY die cut was layered over a strip of pattern paper from Sweet Stripes. To finish, a sentiment strip and some iridescent sequins were added.
**Don't forget about the Free Gift with Purchase this month.......Peace Tree. Check out the Reverse Confetti site for details!
I started with die cutting the Center Frame Cover Panel twice out of white cardstock. One cutting out the stitched rectangle. I used a retro color palette for my tree stamping it in Magenta, Rose, and RC Aqua inks from Reverse Confetti. I love how when the colors of ink blend together, they created purple in the middle!
The tree branches and trim were stamped in black ink. This panel was ink blended on the edges with Broken China Distress Ink and added with foam adhesive to a note card with the other white Center Frame Cover Panel. Strips of purple polka dot paper, from Winter Wonder, were inlaid to the cut outs (to save paper). Some Crystal Stickles were added to the top and a sentiment banner added to the bottom of the tree.
Amy, I adore your joy card! Those blue hues look divine and emote such a cool winter feel; makes me want to go tobogganing or sledding and sip hot 🔥 cocoa!
