Mermaid Kisses
Hello!!
 I am excited to share some of the projects I've been working on for the brand new release from SugarPea Designs!  Each day this week, we will be sharing inspiration using the new release.  You are all going to love this release!!!

I am back with one of the new cuties this month......Mermaid Kisses.  I've paired it with the new Scale Cover Plate.

I started by watercoloring some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink onto a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor paper.  Once dry, this panel was ran through my die cut machine using the Scale Cover Plate as an impression plate.  I wanted texture but not cut out the panel.  I added a Copic colored mermaid and added a sentiment.  A few water droplets were added for a fun water affect!

    That's really neat how you used the die to emboss! Love the card with the ink background too!

    Using the coverplate to just add texture was a fabulous idea! I really like how that turned out!
