Pretty Pink Posh / New Release Blog Hop!

Hello!  We are starting Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh blog hop celebrating the new July release!  A fun summer release that is sure to be a hit!

I've used the darling Fly a Kite stamp to create a dreamy sky scene.  I decided to show that this set doesn't just have to be colored.  I've stamped the solid kites with Catherine Pooler inks and die cut.  All the other images were die cut without using the outline stamps.  I've created my scene over a rectangle that was stenciled with clouds (kind of hard to see here).  This panel was then added to a white top folding notecard with foam adhesive.

My next card uses the new Smile Shaker Die to create a shaker card using the new Mermaid Mix sequins.  I started with a panel of watercolor paper with Mustard Seed and Salty Ocean and added the Smile Shaker Die to the center and backed with clear cardstock for my shaker.  I then added the Mermaid Mix sequins and covered with my watercolor panel.  I love how simple this was to create!

    Love both of these cards!!! The first one is so perfect for summer! The PPP kites flying among the clouds speak of a perfect way to spend a summer's day... outside doing relaxing things like flying a kite. Your second card is a lot of fun with the shaker element and its reminder to "smile." Just looking at both of these cards has made me do just that! :)

    Both of your cards are most fabulous!! I love the kites and the look of the clouds without being stamped first. Just gives a more dreamy look. I also really like the watercolouring on the shaker card. That blue with a hint of that yellow is beautiful!
