Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti September Release!  

We are releasing .....4 new stamp sets and 9 Confetti Cuts this month as well as.......get ready for this......CARDSTOCK, INK, PATTERN PAPER, and STENCILS!  Woot woot!!  Make sure to check out the Reverse Confetti blog for a list full of inspiration and information on all the new goodies!!

I just loved this release......partially because of the amazing new products Reverse Confetti is now offering but also because of the new stamp sets I'm sharing today.  My first card uses Happy Harvest, Happy Harvest Confetti Cuts, as well as new Fright Night 6x6 Pattern Paper, and Lacy Scallop Frames.

Love this chevron pattern in the Fright Night 6x6 paper pad.  This was layered onto a white top folding notecard.  2 Lacy Scallop Frames were cut out of kraft and thick vellum and layered onto my card with foam adhesive for dimension.  My acorn from Happy Harvest was stamped in Iced Aqua Premium Dye Ink and the topper uses Gold Delicata ink.  These were die cut with the Happy Harvest Confetti Cuts and layered over a burlap twine bow that was tied around my smaller Lacy Scallop layer.  To tie into the "gold" look, I swiped some Gold Delicata over a piece of white scrap paper and die cut one layer of the new Wheat Confetti Cuts.  These were tucked under my acorn and a few gold glitter enamel dots finish this off.

My second card uses the new Leaves Cover Panel and Blooms 'n Buds stamps and coordinating Blooms 'n Buds Confetti Cuts.  I started with a white top folding notecard and quickly blended with a sponge some of the new Lime Green Premium Dye Ink.  I wanted a subtle but noticeable color in the background.  By doing this step, when you layer the white Leaves Cover Panel over top--the leaves really pop giving a great place for your focal point.  TIP:  to adhere this cover panel, I use Stick It Adhesive......this stuff is the bomb!  My blooms were stamped (using Lime Green, Grape Soda, and Tangerine Premium Dye Inks from RC as well as various other colors of ink from my stash) and arranged for the center of my card.  A simple black "hello" from Fancy Words Confetti Cuts was added.
