Hello! I'm hoping by posting this card today that SPRING will come back to us here in Kansas. Woke up yesterday to SNOW. It was just a dusting but still. We had gorgeous temperatures over the weekend for our many ballgames and I want that weather to come back! We also had a sickie little girl after the ballgames (I won't share the details.....yuck) so I'm hopeful she's on the mend now.
I had some fun coloring this beautiful stamp set up from Clearly Besotted and thought I'd share it for the challenge going on over on the Stamping & Sharing blog. It's all about Spring for the challenge.
I've used the Spring Blooms set and coordinating dies for this. I love how Stephanie included both a solid flower and stem (for non-colorers like me) and the outlines for those that do. I've stamped my flower in pigment ink and then very lightly used a coordinating Copic to add some shading with small flicks of the pen. I die cut 2 jar images.....one out of white cardstock and one out of vellum and layered them.
Thanks so much for sharing a part of your day with me!
This is beautiful. I love how you did the jar.
