Welcome to the November Edition of the 12 Kits of Holidays!  Every single month we get goodies from the hostess for the month. So many new things arrive..... makes it so fun!!!  We have added some new things to our group recently.......a new BLOG (The 12 Kits of Occasions) and Facebook page.  Please go join our following over on the blog and LIKE us on Facebook!

This month our kit was sent out by Kelly Schirmer.  Kelly sent us a beautiful wrapped package in the mail for the holidays.....gorgeous holiday papers, embellishments, and other goodies!  Take a peek below at what she sent!  Thank so much Kelly!

When I opened Kelly's kit this month........I was just wow'd!!!!  I absolutely LOVE the pattern paper collection from Echo Park called 'Tis the Season.  This collection throws in grays and blacks along with the traditional colors!!!

For my first card, I had to use one of the white embossed sentiments.......chalkboard look all the way!!!  These sentiments look absolutely amazing white embossed!!!!!  I've made a quick white frame using Lil' Inker Designs Stitched Mats: Rectangles.

HollyJolly

My second card uses some of the fabulous pattern papers.  Using just simple strips down the side of the main panel.....is a great way to use those more "busy" papers that we tend to neglect in a paper pad collection.  This would be a very easy mass produced card!!!

My last card uses this tiny die cut tree (included in our kit) using the patterns from these papers!!!
I layered my tree onto a die cut PTI tag die cut.......this was all tied up using Lawn Fawn metallic twine.

That's it from me today but let's go check out what the rest of the group made with this kit!!!  The full supply list can be found on the 12 kits of Occasions blog!!!  Make sure to visit the 12 Kits Blog for details on a possible little prize for hopping along!

  2. Oh Amy, you made the kit look so sleek and chic! I just love the dots behind the holly sentiment and how perfectly you framed your little chalkboard. The detailing on the holly brings it to life. Love the combo of patterned papers you chose to layer for your snowflake card...the sentiment is so sweet over the glittering snowflake!! And the use of the stitched tag on the last is so awesome with the tree...I just love the layout on that card! What a fabulous use of the kit ingredients!! :)XO

Your cards are also so cute Amy...love the one with the Noel and the cute Christmas tree and the simple polka dot patterned paper as a background. I love how you framed the Holly Jolly Christmas with the stitched rectangle panel and added the cute holly and berries. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

I love the perforated mat, the polka dot paper and the glittered holly leaves 😊 I love the layout of the second and how the sentiment is on the snowflake. Then your cute tree... 9. Amy...I have to agree with Amy, you did amazing things with this kit, so classy and very elegant cards. That layered tree is just stunning with the star on top and so beautiful on that bright white tag along with the perfect sentiment. Your holly card is so sweet, love how you dolled up your holly, so clever and just beautiful with the gray and white polka dots. Love them all Amy, just fabulous.

  11. All are so gorgeous, Amy! Your designs are always awesome. Love the framed sentiment with the polka dot paper and the second card with the single snowflake behind the sentiment. I fell in love with the paper you used with your layered tree and you used it so well. Love the simple design with a bit of color and a touch of bling!

BTW, the glitter I used on my snowflakes is MS Chunky White.

  15. Love your cards this month, Amy. That frame you made with the stitched rectangles--what a fabulous idea. And, I am definitely going to copy your idea for the patterned paper strips--you are right about it being a great way to use those busy patterns.

  16. I'm always smitten with your clean designs that have the perfect little details, and this month is no exception. The stitched frame and gems you added to the holly berries are such sweet touches on your first card. I love the layout of the second one and will definitely be using it with my neglected patterned papers! And the off-center placement of the tag with the unique way that you tied it with the twine is so eye-catching.
