Hi everyone! It's new release time for Lil' Inker Designs! This month we are combining our Design Teams for one BIG release! Not only will you be seeing new goodies from the Lil' Inker Designs team, you will be seeing new stamps from the 2 Cute Ink/Sugar Kissed Cottage team (aka..Color Team). If you are on the right track, you should have arrived from Lindsey Amschler's blog. If not, please start at the Lil' Inker Designs blog HERE.
So we have some extra FUN goodies to celebrate today! Balloons, Party Hats, and Invitation goodies! Well, it's no secret that NEON is back "in", right? If you walk by the teen clothing stores in the mall, that's all you see.....NEON. My daughter, she's six, is totally infatuated with the store Justice even though we've only shopped there twice (purchasing a whopping 4 items). This store is full of NEON. So with her birthday coming up fast, I thought it would be fun to use the invitation set, party hats, and balloons for some of her party items.
First up, is the invitation. I've used some NEON colored library pockets that I picked up at the Dollar Tree to hold the invitation. Since these were very inexpensive, I didn't feel bad cutting up the extras to die cut my party hats!
The front of the pocket is stamped with the star border and words from the You're Invited stamp set. I embellished the front with the stars left over from die cutting and some Charcoal Twine from The Twinery. Here's a close up of the party hat and the finished invitation.
Next up is a Thank You card I whipped up in the same NEON colors to coordinate using the new Balloon Dies! Oh I love these! So fun to pair them with the oodles of colors of twine I have! LOL Here I've gone with the ever popular trend........a polaroid. The "thank you" sentiment is also from the You're Invited stamp set that will be released!
I'm going to send this card over to the Focal Point Challenge in the Moxie Fab World!
Well, I hope you've enjoyed my NEON post today! You have several more stops on the Blog Hop today with your next stop at the awesome Isha Gupta's blog. Let's go see what she's colored up for this release! Don't forget there are prizes up for grabs.....check out the Lil' Inker Designs blog for prize details!
As always, thank you for stopping by. I appreciate your time more than you know!
