This month's theme was flowers.......our favorite take on using flowers on our projects!
Well, this was super easy........I tend to reach for flowers more than anything!
I saw this awesome card by Vicky over at Lily Pad Cards recently and wanted to CASE it and this month's blog hop challenge was perfect! I have been "collecting" Distress Inks lately with my Michael's coupons....anyone else like this? Hehe. After making this card, I can't wait to get more colors to use for flowers! Check it out..........
There are several layers of embossed flowers and fussy cutting but I LOVE how this turned out! So CAS! I love all that white space to let the flower shine! This shot lets you see the dimension of the flower.
The challenge over at Lily Pad Cards is to do embossing--any type! I will definitely do more of these cards with these Distress Inks! Well friends, have a great time with the rest of the blog hop!
{Thank You}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps: In Bloom, Botanical Silhouettes (sentiment), Take Note (frame)
Paper: SS White
Ink: Versamark, True Black, Summer Sunrise, Distress Inks (Tim Holtz)
Misc: White Filigree Embossing Powder, Foam Tape
I LOVE this card. I have to use the idea of using the rectangle from Take Note - brilliant! Your coloring of the flower is beautiful - and the white embossing just sets it off. TFS!
