First up, a little about me! My name is Amy and I live in the capitol city of Topeka, Kansas. Go State! I am a late thirty-something wife and mother of 2 perfect kids! :) My son is 9 and LOVES baseball and my daughter is 5 and getting so excited to go to kindergarten round-up in a few weeks! Where have my little ones gone? I have been an RN for 15 years and the last 5 as a full time nephrology charge nurse in a large dialysis unit. My days usually start at 5am and (hopefully) get off at 3:30. You other nurses know that doesn't always happen! Now for some PTI trivia about me:
My first PTI order: Oct. 2008 when looking to buy a fun Halloween set to make treats with
My first PTI set(s): Spooky Sweets, Wise Owl
My favorite PTI stamp set: Heart Prints, Star Prints, Background sets
My favorite PTI products: DIES, matching paper/inks/ribbon
My favorite PTI color: Plum Pudding
My favorite PTI color combo: Plum Pudding and Ripe Avocado
Here are the details of the hop and if you want a little more information, make sure to hop over to our blog, Papertrey Paper Dolls. There are even prizes up for grabs so make sure to leave comments along the way as you won't know what blog the winning comment will be chosen from OR better yet, join in on our challenge!
The challenge?.............Why, PTI of course! That's what brought all of us together right?
1. A PTI product that begins with "P"
2. A PTI product that begins with "T"
3. A PTI product that begins with "I"
Here is my card:
My "P" products are: Plum Pudding buttons, ink, ribbon, pearls, polka dots
My "T" product is: Twine
My "I" products are: Ink and Impression Plate
I also used the Make it Monday challenge this week for my card: Distressing! I used my Heidi Swapp tool and my fingernail to make this little fluffy ruffle at the top of the sentiment panel and around my eggs. I also did ink distressing around the perimeter of my card.
Now the fun begins! Hop on over to Suzanne's blog to continue on the hop but if you got lost, here is the list of participants!
