With Sympathy and Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge #19

I don't know about you but I think Sympathy cards are one of the hardest cards to make along with masculine cards.  I had a friend this week contact me to make her a sympathy card.  She
said she would rather buy one that is HANDMADE than buy one from the store.
Once I asked her if it was for a female, then it became a bit easier!

I saw this card by Nerina and just had to stamp my flowers this way too!

This card was made for the Papertrey Paper Dolls Challenge and was hosted by Michelle S.
Her challenge was:
1. Use a stamp/stamp set that is new
2.  A Product that is brand new and never used

So for my card, the "With Sympathy" stamp was new/never used and I used Soft Stone
cardstock for the base.  I can't believe I had never even opened this cardstock to see how subtle and beautiful is is.  I also used some new satin ribbon from Michael's too!

{With Sympathy}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps:  Four of a Kind, Communique Sentiments
Paper:  Soft Stone, Smokey Shadow, Sweet Blush
Ink:  Charcoal Palette, Sweet Blush
Misc:  Scallop border punch (SU), satin ribbon (Michaels), Top Note die (SU), Oyster Baubles (Stamping Bella)

    I sadly have to make a sympathy card too this weekend, though it's for a guy and his dad who passed away this week - now that's a toughie for a guy card phobe like me!

  15. Sympathy cards are very difficult & you've handled it so beautifully and subtly here with your soft colors! I love this flower done this way -- gonna have to "borrow" that idea.

  16. Your card is lovely, so soft and feminine. Your color choice is very soothing. I really like what you did with the flowers. It's always fun to learn new ways to use our stamps. Sympathy cards are always sad to make, but you did a great job on this one.
