Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  Just a quick share with a card made for Taylored Expressions but so perfect for "boo" day today!

I've used Peek-a-Boo Pumpkins stamps and matching dies!  I created a Distress Inked sky as a backdrop for my pumpkins and adding in a touch of gold to top things off!

Happy Holidays!

Hello!  I'm sharing a card today that can also be found over on the Avery Elle blog.  I used the set called Fa La La from Avery Elle

Instead of using the main element (the holly vine) from this set, I chose to go a different route and stamp my own background with the tiny holly and berries stamps using Cherry and Jungle inks from Avery Elle.  I used the Scalloped Banners Elle-ments to cut my layers with gold, olive, and white stamped cardstock.  My banner (from Fa La La and coordinating Elle-ments) was done using Cherry pigment ink from Avery Elle.  My banner focal piece was mounted on a notecard from the Sugar Collection notecards.  As a last touch, a burlap twine bow and some clear stickles to the berries were added.

PPP and Altenew Blog Hop!

Amy-Altenew2

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh collaboration blog hop with Altenew!  You are in for a treat today!  You pair PPP dies and sequins with some of the most gorgeous stamps from Altenew......match made in heaven!

I've used Vintage Roses and coordinating dies from Altenew.  This is a multi-layering stamp set that is amazing.  I've layered my roses over the Decorative Tag 1 from Pretty Pink Posh.  The white panel was diecut using the straight border die from Stitched Borders 2.  I love how it ties in with the stitching from the Decorative Tag.  My sentiment is from the Label Love stamp set from Altenew and was added with foam adhesive.  To finish off, I added some Gold sequins and a tiny diecut bow from the Twine & Bows die set from Pretty Pink Posh.

Trick or Treat!

Pick 'n Mix

Hello!  I'm sharing a card today that can also be found over on the Avery Elle blog.  When I saw this stamp set, all I could think of was all that Halloween candy my kids get and the fun they have once they are home.  They dump their bags out and sort and organize!  Anybody else do this when they were younger??  (raising hand here yes!)  We are gearing up for Halloween here at my house with just one kiddo trick or treating this year......my oldest didn't last year either and it made me so sad!  They are growing up!

I've used the Pick 'n Mix stamp set and coordinating Elle-ments dies.  I sponged some ink onto a white card panel for a shading effect.  I stamped, colored, and diecut all my images.  I added my bag of candy corn with foam adhesive and adhered my tiny images around the outside of my bag.  The sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock with the other half stamped onto my sponged panel.

Decorative Tag2

Hello and welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh New Release Blog Hop!  Say that a few times!  :)  Paulina recently released more amazing dies.......new tags and another storybook die!  Yay!

My first project uses the fabulous Mondo Poinsettia from the Essentials by Ellen by Julie Ebersole.  I've layered my watercolored Poinsettia onto an AMAZING new tag die from Pretty Pink Posh called Decorative Tag 1.  I love the scallop details Paulina included in both of the dies in this set!  Makes it so versatile and perfect for layering!  I've done more watercoloring of the layers and added some of the new 4mm Clear Droplets Small along with 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins.

My next project uses new Storybook 2 Die from Pretty Pink Posh.  If you liked the Storybook Die 1 Die, then you will LOVE this one!  I've diecut the die from black glitter cardstock from DCWV and again out of white cardstock.  My images are from the Essentials by Ellen by Julie Ebersole set called Got Candy and were trimmed out using the coordinating dies.  After assembling my Storybook Die and all the images, it was added to a Wilted Violet Distress Ink watercolor wash panel.  Finally to add some color, I've used the new Spooky Days Sequin Mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

Christmas Critters {Mint Owl Studio}

Mint Owl Studio2

Hello!  Today I have a project to share with you featuring a stamp set from a brand new company, Mint Owl Studio!  They just had a new release which included 2 stamp sets and a beautiful sequin mix.  I used the new Christmas Critters for my card today!  This set is full of animals all decked out in holiday attire.  This little giraffe cracks me up.  The little presents and sentiment are also included in the stamp set.

Such darling critters that are included!  I've used the cutie giraffe in a stocking and trees with a bit of masking to make my scene.  These images are so easy to trim out by hand with the bold lines.

Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti!

Ornament

Welcome to Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti!  The Confetti Crew is sharing projects that are all about the holidays!  Today we are celebrating Christmas!

My first project uses my FAVORITE die from October's Release......Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts designed by Kay Miller.  Seriously, I can not put this die down!  I've used felt in hot pink, chartreuse, ivory, smokey gray, and aqua to create my Felt Snowflake Ornament.  These dies cut the felt beautifully!  To embellish my snowflake ornament, I added some 4mm Sparkling Clear Sequins (Pretty Pink Posh).  I glued all my layers with Fabri-Tac.

My next project has been one that I've wanted to do for a long time.  I even bought these plastic sleeves......years ago.  :)  Every have one of those projects???  Anyway........using some long plastic sleeves, I added M&M's alternating red and green.

candy topper

For my treat topper, I used the large scallop banner from Layered Banner Duo Confetti Cuts.  I cut 4 of these with some pattern paper.  I scored them at the pointed ends, folded them over, and adhered them together so that my topper was finished on the front and back.
I added the adorable deer images from Jolly Holiday which were colored with Copics onto my toppers with foam adhesive.  A small hand cut banner was stamped with Merry Christmas from Jolly Holiday as well.  Perfect for little gifties for my kiddos!!!

Pop Up Wreath Die!

Wreath2

Hello!  I'm sharing a card today that can also be found over on the Avery Elle blog.  Seriously......this Pop-Up Wreath Die is AMAZING!

I started out by diecutting the wreath into my Tim Hotlz watercolor paper.  The wreath was water colored and simply trimmed down and set aside to dry.  I added some glossy accents to various places on the leaves.  You know what's even better?  You get dimension without the bulk.  My sentiment is from another new set called Christmas Florals.

Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti!

Spooky gifts

Welcome to Happy Fall-idays with Reverse Confetti!  The Confetti Crew is sharing projects that are all about the holidays!  Today we are celebrating Halloween!

Reverse Confetti has some of the most ingenius tags on the market.  My favorite by far is one from many releases ago called Tag Me Confetti Cuts.  I chose to make up some fun snack treats incorporating these tags into each of my packaging.

This first one, I embellished one of the new Frosted Pillow Boxes from Reverse Confetti.  Wrapping the box in pattern paper and adding a snippet of Star Garland Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is from the Spooky Sentiments.

Spooky gifts3

Next, I added some black tulle and a decorated tag again from Tag Me Confetti Cuts for my cup of mix.  Peanut Butter Pretzels and Fall M&M's???  Yes, please!

Spooky gifts4

I embellished some pencils with all the same Reverse Confetti products listed above for the other projects.
