Taylored Expressions / Whimsical Wings

Welcome to the last Tuesday of the month 

and at Taylored Expressions that means a new cardmaking kit.  

Introducing:  Whimsical Wings.

This card features the pre-printed Foil-It's featuring the moths.  They were foiled using Champagne Deco Foil and ink blended with the stencils leaving the background white.  They were mounted on a notecard stamped with the Lush Greenery Background (new) and a foam mounted frame from Frame in Frame 2 Cutting Plate.   For the sentiment, a new Signature Hello die is available as an add-on.

My second card uses the Whimsical Wings Stamp and Stencil Combo.  This time another Whimsical Wings Foil-It Panel was used where most of the image is done in foil and then accents added with the stencil.  

I added the moths to a slim line card with coordinating colors and the Mini Slim Square Window Cutting Plate.  A split sentiment from Simple Strips Occasions Foil-Its was added.

Taylored Expressions / Easter Release

Is Spring here yet?  It is at Taylored Expressions!

The Easter Release is now available and it's a goooood one!

My first card features the Joyful Bunny Stamp & Stencil Combo and I've paired it with the coordinating die.  The die has amazing etched marks to give the bunny even more detail!  My colors include Rose Water, Spearmint, Macaron, and Banana Cream Pie.  I'e added a foiled sentiment from the new Hello Spring Foil Its done in Champagne foil.

My next set of cards feature the Folk Eggs Stamp & Stencil Combo.  Here for both cards I've done a white backgrounds using dies from Taylored Expressions to make the eggs really pop!

I've paired the eggs with the Easter Egg Cup dies and embellished them with gold cardstock to tie in with the gold foiled sentiments.

My last card features the Awesome Easter Stencil & Die Combo.  It features Easter time icons of carrots, eggs, and flowers.  

The background was done with one of the Greetings of Spring Foil Its done in Wild Cherry foil.  After stenciling the icons and die cut, they were arranged around the 'happy easter' foiled sentiment in the center but still keeping within the foiled double border.

Taylored Expressions / Second Chance Release

Welcome to the Second Chance Release for 

Taylored Expressions!

Now is the time to get all those 'freebie' items you missed along with some add-ons for them!  

First up, is the Peace Within and new dies called Layer It: Peace Within.

I created a combo with Corn Blue Cardstock and Toffee Cardstock.  Simple layering card with white heat embossing of the new sentiment from Mini Strips: Sympathy.

Next up is the adorable Giftables Cute Carton that was available in October!  

I inked mine up with a new stencil called Take Two - Pretty Polka Stencil using a tone on tone color.  I packaged mine up with some Valentine KitKats.  Adorning the top of the box is the Little Bits: Heart Coin and the new layering dies Coin Companions.

My third project is using the Ferns Forever Background.  I've inked it up using an ombre color scheme using Confetti Cake, Blue Raspberry, and Poblano Pepper inks.  

Each background was trimmed into sections and added to the base card.  Sentiment is from You Are and is perfect for these cards!

Avery Elle / Groovy Vibes

Feelin' Groovy!
I'm here with a card with all the vibes featuring a new set called Groovy Vibes.

I started with ink blending orange and pink ink over the Flower Power Stencil and trimming the panel.  A frame from Scalloped Burst Elle-ments was ink blended lightly with the pink ink left on the brush for a soft look.  The 'Groovy' die was cut from thick black glitter cardstock, matted with a thick vellum, and added to the card.  A few black stars, from Balloon Wishes, were stamped across the panel.

Avery Elle / Modern Tags

Hello!

I'm here with a project using many new products released just last week from Avery Elle!

I started off using the Flower Power Stencil.  Using only the ink on my pink blender brush, the ink was blended over the stencil onto a panel of white cardstock and onto a 3 1/4' x 3 1/4' separate smaller piece.  Into the smaller cardstock piece, the 'HB2U', die from the Modern Tags, was die cut.  This square was stamped with a sentiment from the Modern Tags stamp set and then added to the stenciled background using foam adhesive.  To keep this simple, a few flowers (from Easter Egg) were Copic colored, adorned with a black gem, and added to the panel.
