Technique Tuesday / March Release Day Blog Hop

I grew up loving the smell of Peonies. We had tons of them lining our fence. So I was excited to see the newest addition to the Greenhouse Society at Technique Tuesday is Fresh Peonies.

I started by Copic coloring my Peony image with R20, R21, R22, R24, R27. My leaves were done using G21, G28, and G46. This is a gorgeous image and I can't wait to color it in some purples! After diecutting the images, I added it at a diagonal atop some black cardstock strips. I added the die cut word 'Friend' (comes with the Fresh Peonies Dies) and some black gems.

SugarPea Designs / Mix It Up Challenge #52

Hello!

I have a card to share for this month's Mix It Up Challenge for SugarPea Designs. This inspiration photo and colors are perfect for a lovey dovey card!

I couldn't resist this month's inspiration photo to share another love card especially with the Tutti Fruiti set that came out this month! (I actually made this card during release!)

For the colors of the challenge, I pulled in some grey ink using the Cocentric Circles Stencil and die cut hearts in red, pink, and yellow using the Postage Stamp SugarCut. My stenciled panel was die cut using the scallop edge die from Card Front Element Builder. I added some stamped and die cut apples, added some chunky glitter, sentiment banners, and gems.

Since the release of Cat Hugs was so popular.........here we have Dog Hugs!

I decided I wanted all brown dogs so I black heat embossed the dogs onto kraft cardstock. I love how doing it this way allows for pops of color (in this case red) on the dogs! I added a cute little sign for the dogs to hold and mounted them onto a panel stamped with Cozy Plaid Stamps.

I had so much fun stamping these "hello"s in rainbow inks! I love the shadow stamp that is included and absolutely EASY to line up! This new set is called Snarky Shadow Hello Stamp and Die Bundle. I used Lawn Fawn inks in rainbow order with black shadows. A simple thin sentiment strip was added over one of the hello sentiments with foam adhesive.

Starting things off with my favorite new product from this release.......Cover Up Die: Mod Circles.

I love white on white and this new die is perfect for adding pops of color with some beautiful (previously released Best Mom) florals! My florals were all stamped with colors of Fresh Ink (these are pigment inks). I added in a simple banner that was stamped with the new Sassy Pants Stamps and some white gems from Pretty Pink Posh.

Avery Elle / Peek-a-Boo Pets

Hello!

I'm here sharing a card using the newest addition to the Peek-a-Boo lineup from Avery Elle designed by my friend Heather Campbell...........Peek-a-Boo Pets!

I created a cute little scene for my pets to peek out of. Using the new Quilted Frame Elle-ments. I ink blended my sky using Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Broken China and added some clouds with a stencil.

My cow and pig were Copic colored and are peeking out of the oval with foam adhesive. A small die cut grass for the background and the bold black speech bubbles finish this card.

Hero Arts 2019 Catalog Blog Hop & Giveaways

Hello! Welcome to the Hero Arts 2019 Catalog Blog Hop! There is so much inspiration and gorgeous work to be seen by the talented Hero Arts Design Team and special guests.

There are many new products and I am sharing just a few of them so make sure to follow along the blog hop below!! I have 3 cards to share.....let's get started.

My first card uses the Flower Garden Fancy Die and the new Hello Message Fancy Die. I started with a white notecard and ink blended Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac, and Squeezed Lemonade onto specific areas.I layered a white die cut Flower Garden over the top.

I added a die cut Hello Message Fancy Die ink blended with Worn Lipstick. This was layered over a vellum strip and white gems were added for some sparkle.

My second card uses the Flower Garden Fancy Die in more of a bold way by die cutting it out of black cardstock from Hero Arts. Adhered the die cut to a white panel and layered it over a pool color cardstock from Hero Arts. I would encourage you to try the cardstock Hero Hues sampler pack.....you can feel the thickness and slight texture.

I added my sentiments from the Smile Stamp & Cut and trimmed the banner at an angle. My photo looks speckled but it's actually been sprayed with lots of Sheer Shimmer Spritz. It's gorgeous IRL.

My third card uses a new stamp set called New Day Butterflies and I've paired it with the Abstract Graphic Texture Die for a very CAS card.

My butterfly white black heat embossed so I could water color using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added it to a white notecard that was layered with the Abstract Graphic Texture Die done in white. A simple black sentiment strip and a few gems finish this card.

And did you see the new Mail Delivery stamp set that was a collaboration with all the stamp companies from Creativation's Stamping Village? 100% of the net profits made from this collaboration will benefit The Dreaming Zebra Foundation. I've made some envelope labels using white sticky paper!
