Hello! I hope you are having a great start to your weekend! I have been enjoying the color challenges that The Play Date Cafe has and was excited to see a new challenge there and it was combined with Case Study! Two great challenges in one!
When I first saw this color combination, the first thing that came to mind was the Beautiful Blooms DP from PTI that I have NEVER used! Well, it inspired me but the patterns had another color that wasn't in the challenge so I put it away and created my own little pattern using the Beautiful Blooms stamps!
From the Case Study card, I took the wonderful shape of the card and the layout with the bloom. I finally used my Bloom Builder die with some Pure Poppy felt. The leaves were created with the Delightful Dahlia leaf die.
Well, I worked in a couple of other challenges here as well.........the Make it Monday challenge to use a vellum strip and the Papertrey Paper Dolls challenge #29 that Laurie issued to use our PTI dies with felt!

{Be Happy}
All supplies PTI unless stated.
Stamps: Beautiful Blooms II, Fillable Frames #6
Paper: Kraft, True Black, Ripe Avocado, Rustic White
Ink: Pure Poppy, True Black, Ripe Avocado
Misc: Pure Poppy Felt, Bloom Builder #1 Dies, True Black Button, Simply Chartreuse Felt, Delightful Dahlia Leaf Die, Spellbinders, Double Ended Banner Die, Linen IP

Love it! The rich rich coloring, the shape of the card, The matting within matting, the to die for felt flower, The textured backround, and the perfectly picked and placed sentiment are just fantastic! Everything just works and does so really really well.
Amy, your felt flower is fabulous! And you have a great take on our combined grin challenges....thanks for playing with us at the Cafe!
Wow, Amy - there's so much about this that I love! The pp you made is beautiful! Way to use that unused die and hit so many challenges :) I love the linen texture and the avocado paper strip on that CUTE card base!
My v'tine guys card was a one layer PP card, impressed with WG. The mat stack was a peek-a-boo window to a linen impressed, die-cut FL focal piece. I'm so addicted to layers, these cards are rare for me :)
